Nico and Miyu’s first business encounter in Beat & Motion

Miyu Beat & Motion

Beat & Motion chapter 19 has been released which greatly focuses on the first interaction between Miyu and Nico after they both went their separate ways. Last chapter, Nico came face-to-face with Miyu at the Studio. Nico’s song was chosen by Miyu so they had to meet up at the studio for talks but because of what happened in the past, they both feel uncomfortable. Click here to read Beat & Motion chapter 19


Miyu-Nicon Encounter


This chapter begins with an encounter between Miyu and Nico. Both girls salute themselves but they are uncomfortable especially Nico. Kujo(Miyu’s manager) praises Nico on how amazing her song is and how Miyu seems to love it(she would sing the song with more passion compared to other songs). Another person at the studio also praises Nico’s Demo but he’s surprised Nico is so nervous and the room is gloomy.

Kujo decided to bring the conversation to life by asking Miyu to talk to Nico but Miyu doesn’t know what to say. Nico on the other hand had something to say though she still couldn’t look at Miyu’s face directly. She said she used Chord progression, she limited the number of tracks and instruments to bring Miyu’s singing to the fullest. The lyrics reflect the positive feelings about Tokyo (When she sees the lights in the windows at night, she feels encouraged there are people who feel the same way she does. She gets courage knowing it might be someone she competes with in the future).


Nico's take on the past

Nico Beat & Motion

Nico after the meeting reveals she was nervous but Nico’s manager praises her because of how she explained her song. Miyu’s album is album is expected to release in 2 months’ time and Nico’s song is going to be part of it. Nico l feels bad about what happened in the past. She thought she was doing the right thing in the past when she gave up on music and her friendship with Miyu. Nico knows Miyu is upset with her but she doesn’t understand why. She believes time would’ve healed her wound.


Closure


This chapter concludes with Nico going back to Miyu to say something and that was Miyu’s expectation. Nico is probably going to apologize next chapter and they both will talk about their past relations in an attempt to fix a broken relationship. We might also get more insight into Nico’s past next chapter.
