Everything You Need To Know About Peni Parker

There were a lot of questions regarding Peni Parker after she made an onscreen debut in 2018 Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse. Fans started wondering who she was and she gained a lot of traction. Today, I will write an article containing details about Peni Parker.
Her School Life
Peni Parker is from Earth-14512 and attends Osborn Middle school. She’s picked on by her some of her classmates and tries to fit in. She’s fourteen years old and a secret hero. She pilots the SP//DR and she’s not allowed to tell anyone. She’s not really close to people from her school but she’s been to the house of a classmate called Julia who according to Penny is ’one of the cool girls’
About Her Family
In Spider-verse Unlimited Issue #10, Peni got Homework from school which was to write about her dad. Peni’s mother passed away when she was born and her dad passed away when she was just 9 years old and he died protecting the city. She’s jealous of Spider because he got to know him well. At that time, Peni was in a boarding school and he would always visit once a year bringing gifts but she wanted a hug and for him to ask about her day. Peni believes he cherished. The last time she saw her dad, he took her on a road trip and they slept under the stars, cooked some Marshmallow’s and he sang until she fell asleep. She lost her hairpin the next morning and they both looked for it but couldn’t find it. One week later, her dad passed away and now she co-pilots the SP//DR
Miss Clair is part of the Ben’s team that supports Peni on her missions. Ben also lost someone dear to him and it’s May. This means Peni has lost her Mother, Father and Auntie. She now stays with her Uncle Ben and he takes care of her. Ben knows why she is sad so he decided to give her Miss Clair’s hairpin telling her it’s a gift from her dad so she feels better. Peni’s father bought a hairpin before he died but Ben wasn’t able to find it. Clair’s hairpin was identical to it so he decided to give it to her so she remembers her dad and feels better. Peni now wears that hairpin. Ben still feels bad though because he has no one to take care of him.
Spider
Her best friend is a spider. Everyone else calls it ’SP//DR’ but she calls it Spider is part of an Oscorp experiment using irradiated animals to psychically bond a pilot to their mech suit. Spider bit her when she was nine years old so he accepted her as a replacement for Peni’s late father because she’s the closest genetic match. She now shares a special bond with Spider. She co-pilots the SP//DR. Spider and Peni have one thing in common and this is the ’Green Tea Ice Cream Mochis’. Spider is always with Peni and assists her even in school. It would get her up when she’s sleeping in class and they would usually fight but she still loves him. Spider would also help her do her homework.
Her Favorite Show/School social Life
Her favorite show is the Tony Stark show. .The Tony Stark show is a mystery solving romance show sponsored by Oscorp recorded live from Oscorp studios.She’d beg her Uncle just to bet a chance to watch the show because it airs late but he would usually give her conditions to watch the show. An example is when he told her to do her homework first before she can watch the show in Spider-verse unlimited issue 07.
The kids she admires in her school watch the show but I think she actually watches it because she wants ro be cool. Sometimes she’d feel sad because monsters would attack when the Tony Stark show is on air but she has to save the city. She’s sad because she feels everything’s happening at once so she can’t concentrate on her studies and talk about the show with her friends. She’s saved the studio from an attack by Mecha D.O.O.M during its season finale and even though her secret was almost reveals on live TV, he saved the day preserving her secret.
SP//DR. Mech
She’s always supporting her Uncle Ben in fixing up the SP//DR mech or Spider mech. Her best friend is Spider and she co-pilots this suit with Spider. Despite the mech being copiloted by Spider, there’s a team usually guiding her when carrying out her mission with Uncle Ben and a woman known as Miss Clair included. She has this cute suit that’s white with light blue arms and dark below the knee.
The SP//DR mech looks like a pink pod with long arms and legs. When activated, basically has a face on the screen on the round pod. Some of you have probably seen this in the Spider-Man movies. In it, there’s a sit and Peni has access to the controls from there. There’s a small layer for Spider blocked by a glass. The SP// DR is the protector of the city and very popular among the folks in the city. It has energy reactors its back which gives it flight. Aside from flight, it can walk on walls; it’s super-fast and also has super strength. Spider doesn’t control the weapons in the mech suit because if he did, he’d use it to catch flies
Closure
Peni Parker has lost so much at such a young age burdened with the responsibility of saving the city but despite all that, she still has loved ones such as Spider and her Uncle Ben. She also tries to live a normal life but it’s hard to do when you’re a hero.
