As of the writing of this article precisely June 15 2023, Twitch has announced the Partner plus Program that allows streamers receive a 70/30 revenue share on net subscription revenue which is the revenue from recurring monthly subscriptions and gift subscriptions for 12 months up to 100,000 USD (United States Dollars/ US $100k). When I talk about 70/30 revenue share, I’m saying the streamer gets 70% meanwhile Twitch gets 30%
On Twitch, individuals can subscribe to a streamer they like for a monthly fee or even gift subscriptions to streamers they like. That’s the benefit of this program, to reallocate majority of the total net revenue to the streamer.
For Twitch streamers to be eligible for this Partner plus Program, they must fit the required criteria. Twitch revealed in order for a streamer to be eligible for this program, its partners must maintain a sub count of at least 350 recurring paid subscriptions for three consecutive months and once it happens, partners will be automatically enrolled for the next twelve months for this program.
Above, I spoke about how individuals can subscribe directly to streamers via a monthly fee. So streamers need at least 350 recurring paid subscriptions for three months straight meaning at least 350 paid subscriptions every month
As for its launch date, Twitch reveals the Partner plus Program will officially launch on October 1, 2023 and for streamers to be enrolled into this program, they have to meet the qualification criteria in July, August and September which is three consecutive months before the program starts.
