Following the release of Shazam, we received confirmation of Shazam 2 (Shazam! Fury Of Gods). There have been hints, teasers, and various announcements. Finally, we have a trailer, and fans are thrilled. Because the trailer was so good, there is a lot of expectation and anticipation for this film. So I'll go over the trailer's main highlights (its positive aspects) and then discuss a major flaw that could harm its release because it's a major deciding factor.
So let's go over the highlights. The ost/music was the first major highlight of the trailer. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but it was enjoyable. The trailer also had a very dark-comedy aesthetic, which made everything work perfectly. People may wonder why it was so dark and comedic, but remember, it's Shazam with extra gore to the story, so there's nothing to be surprised about.
The characters were essentially another highlight. The characters we love have aged (as if they had a choice), and they haven't been replaced with unknown new characters. It is better for characters when fans can grow with them since there will be greater love for that character and it is amazing to see that character change over time. New characters were also introduced, and old characters made a comeback. The VFX was the final major highlight (Visual Effects). They truly worked hard to make it good.
As was already mentioned, the trailer has a lot of positive aspects, but it also has a significant fault. The trailer's primary issue was that it gave away far too much information about the plot. Trailers are meant to excite viewers and keep them curious about the plot, therefore encouraging them to watch. Shazam 2 or Shazam! Fury of Gods chose to reveal crucial plot details in the trailer rather than doing that. The people in command should be sensible and at least have some knowledge of what they are doing, even if the team is overly enthusiastic. Because of this, people can foresee the entire plot, from beginning to end, from that three minute trailer. This is particularly terrible since some people won't watch something if the trailer has already revealed the entire storyline or given the entire narrative. Its revenues will be impacted.
To conclude, we can observe from the above that both trailers are good. Yeah, there are trailers 1 and 2. Together, they provide viewers with more background for the film and are each excellent in their own right. The primary issue at hand right now is that the people in charge gave out so much information that some fans even know what the movie is about before they watch it. Due to the diverse scenes in each trailer, the situation is just made worse.
