Eida's Ability Explained: Boruto Episode 288

Boruto episode 288 just revealed Eidas' overpowered ability, which is more deadly than what meets the eye. Boruto is finally adapting the Code arc, which is a manga canon arc. In the manga, the Code arc takes place immediately after the Kawaki arc, even though it's not thesame in in the anime. If you haven't seen Boruto episode 288 yet, It is recommended for you not to read this because it contains huge spoilers. Below, I shall examine how powerful Eidas' ability is.

The Code arc follows Code on his quest for vengeance and to fulfill his master's(isshiki) wishes to become an Otsutsuki god by devouring several chakra fruits from various planets. As we all know, Naruto defeated Isshiki Otsutsuki by using Baryon mode to decrease Isshiki's lifespan. Because of this isshiki could not fullfill his aims yet he still has a disciple "Code". Before leaving the physical realm, Isshiki spoke to his young protegee, instructing him about godhood. Code then requires answers and try seeking for "The One Who Knows Everything"

With a few exceptions, Code is now the last surviving member of Kara, and he must take his master's teachings forward in quest of answers while also seeking for revenge. It was at this point that fans discovered the existence of cyborgs stronger than Jigen. They were supposed to be disposed of according to Code, but Boro kept some alive. Code was explicitly seeking for "The one who knows everything". Seeking answers from Bug, who is actually a Boro devotee. Bug is terrified for his life, so he has no choice but to comply with Code's request. The cyborg Code referred to as "The One Who Knows Everything" is then released. She's a woman, and a beautiful one at that. She's called Eida.

Eidas' Ability

Boruto episode 288 begins with the introduction of Eida. Eida is a cyborg who is considered to be more powerful than Jigen. We only know about two of her powers for now. First, she has an ability to steal hearts, which means that everybody who comes into contact with her instantly falls in love with her. They are unable to harm her since her ability is so powerful that her body rejects what the mind desires, leaving her immensely overpowered.

Second, she possesses a dojutsu called the Senrigan. This allows her to see everything in current time and in the past, all the way back to the moment she was born. She says that it's like a camera all over the world, and she can send her subconscious there to see what's going on. Because of these two skills, she is a formidable foe.

Eida was also revealed to hate Amado because he gave her the heart stealing ability or the ability to enslave hearts. Because of this, she cannot experience true love which is currently her desire.

Her Current Limitation

Eida revealed the limits of her heart stealing ability. She says the ability works on all except blood relatives and Otsutsuki. Meaning blood relatives and Otsutsuki are immune to her heart stealing ability and can actually hurt her. Currently, we know of only two charcters capable of doing so(Boruto and Kawaki)
