The Solo leveling anime has been going on for some time now and it has gained a lot of traction recently. It was really popular and for valid reasons. The show was really good. Season 1 ended on March 30 2024. There’s a new update about the shows future.
Solo leveling Season 2 has officially been announced and will be coming later on in the future. This announcement was done via an announcement trailer which can be found on YouTube and other social media platforms. A lot of context wasn’t revealed during this announcement trailer expect for battle scenes from the first season of the show.
Crunchyroll has confirmed they will stream Solo Leveling Season 2 but there is no release date as of the moment. Season 1 can also be found on Crunchyroll.
I’m going to try explain what Season one is all about without revealing major spoilers. So portals started appearing on Earth. Along with these portals came with certain powers wielded by some people in the world. The classifications for these powers were E, D, C, B, A and S and they were known as hunters. S tier hunters were the most powerful meanwhile E were the weakest. Individuals who wielded these powers couldn’t change their ranks. Meaning if you were E rank, you’ll remain E rank forever. The only way to change ranks is through a reawakening. The story follows Sung Jin-woo, an E rank hunter who wants to grow in strength and heal his sick mom.
As I said before, there’s no release date as of the moment but don’t expect it soon. The closest release date might be late 2024 so I’m hypothesizing a 2025 release. There’s also critique from fans regarding the show and it’s the number of episodes. Season 1 was approximately 12 episodes but fans want more episodes because the show is nice.
