The Origin of Kai’s revealed in Dragon Ball Daima

Dragon Ball Daima episode 6 was released some days ago. This episode revealed some important details about how Kai's, also known as "Glinds" come into existence. This article is going to be a review / recap of Dragon Ball Daima episode 4, 5 and 6.

Glorio Stronger than Supreme Kai?

Dragon Ball Daima episode 4 is titled “Chatty”. Episode three concluded with Glorio realizing his ship was stolen. This episode basically starts off with Goku, Glorio and Supreme kai traveling by foot. They couldn’t fly because the air in the demon realm is extremely heavy so it would take a lot of stamina and they wouldn’t be able to fly fast. Goku and the others did fly across the Sea of Darkness and they were attacked. Glorio defeated the monster and that’s when Goku made an interesting statement. Goku said Glorio was stronger than Supreme Kai.

Medi Bugs

They were attacked a second time but this time it was Goku who saved the day. It was during this second attack Glorio learnt about “Ki”. They later on proceeded to a restaurant were Goku ate to his fill. The restaurant had other food varieties (Medi Bugs) such as the revival bugs (revives stamina when eaten), Achichi bugs (for burns), Zutsu bugs (for headaches), Beauty bugs (for beautiful silky skin), and Join Bug (For Fusion and used only when two people eat two halves). Goku purchased some of these Meti Bugs.

Sky Seed

In order to get some distance. Glorio decided they use the “Sky Seed”. It is a means of transportation in the demon realm. As for Utilization, it is like a cannon fire but a wood with passengers is being shot in the air. Passengers have to jump off before it hits the ground.

The Team's Goal

After talking to each other, they decided to also go after the Tamagaris and collect the Dragon Balls in the Demon Realm. Goku was interested in fighting these things meanwhile Glorio believed it was beneficial for several reason. For instance using The Demon Realms Dragon Balls to make sure Dende is alright/find him and use Earth’s Dragon Ball to become back normal.

Goku defeats Gomah's forces

They later proceeded to a town. Goku and the others met the Gendarmerie. This Military police under King Gomah came to the town to collect the annual offering. This was added to three gold coins and anyone who didn’t pay up would lose 3 years of their lives for each gold coin. The original was most likely a single gold coin but this part wasn’t stated. Several townsmen lost their life span but someone stepped in to save the town. This young lady didn’t do much but it made Goku step up. Goku defeated the Gendarmerie.

The episode highlighted more on the demon realm. This included travel options and various items used such as the Meti Bugs. It also gave reaffirmation to how heavy the atmosphere is compared to that of Earth.

Average Lifespan in the Demon Realm

Dragon Ball Daima episode 4 is titled “Panzy”. The main emphasis in the chapter was on Panzy joining Goku’s journey. Panzy was thankful Goku saved her life and she recognized Goku’s strength. Panzy was intrigued by the others so she asked about their origins. It was also revealed during this episode the average lifespan of those who stay in the demon realm is 1000 years

Who is Panzy?

Panzy got to learn about Saiyans because Goku was really open. Glorio on the other hand did not trust her. Panzy accompanied Glorio and the others to King Kadans castle. In fact, she led them there through a shortcut. Upon arrival, Glorio, Goku and Supreme Kai discovered Panzy is actually King Kadans daughter making her the princess.

Why Kadan wants Gomah defeated

King Kadan needs someone to defeat Gomah so he can become the supreme Demon king for peace in the Demon Realm. King Kadan was shocked by the warrior Glorio chose. This is because Goku is a kid so King Kadan wasn’t sure about his might. Goku was placed in an arena with other fighters. Goku easily defeated them. Kadan decided to support Goku and the others in their journey. Panzy decided to accompany Glorio, Goku and Supreme Kai.

Goku wanted

Dragon Ball Daima episode 6 is titled “Lightning”. The spaceship king Kadan gave Goku, Glorio and the others was overloaded because of everything packed inside. Once they were all outside the ship, Goku had to explain the concept of ‘supreme Kai” to Panzy. Goku later on went away to poo and that’s when a gendarmerie intercepted them. They all introduced themselves and their respective demon realms. It’s revealed Goku is now a wanted fugitive and he is worth 10 gold coins.

How Kai's or Glinds are born?

Panzy fixed the ship. During a conversation on board, it was revealed Glinds or Kai's are born once every century from a Glind Tree located in the second demon realm. There are five Glind Trees so people born from each tree are siblings. Goku compared Supreme kai to a plant. Referencing how he doesn’t eat anything but he can only drink liquids. Degesu was born from the same tree as Supreme Kai 216 years later. Kibito on the other hand alongside the old supreme Kai was born from other Glind Trees. It’s also revealed Glinds don’t have genders. Arinsu is supreme Kai’s older sister.

Why Degesu and Arinsu decided to stay in the demon realm

The reason why Degesu didn’t leave with the other Glinds was because he did not get along with them and he was very ambitious. Arinsu was also very ambitious which is why she didn’t leave. They decided to stop by a cave to rest. It turns out Glorio has been secretly working with the, mad scientist Arinsu for reasons unknown. Supreme Kai suspected Glorio because he did not reveal the name of the person who hired him. Glorio did say it was someone from the first demon realm but he didn’t say who. They were attacked by a Minotaur.

Closure

The fight was supposed to be the Minotaur vs. Glorio but it turned out to be Goku vs Glorio. Glorio was string and he also had magic but Goku bested him when he went Super Saiyan. Another detail about the demon realm is that the place looks brighter at night because it has two suns.
