Constipation also known as Costiveness or dyschezia can be defined as a form of bowel dysfunction that makes bowel movements hard. The stool is dry and moves slow down the colon making it hard to pass causing abdominal pain and sometimes even bloating. . It is caused by disorders in the pelvic diaphragm, coeliac disease, IBS which is Irritable bowel syndrome, mixing lots of food affecting the colon and slow movement of stool which can be caused by various reasons such as eating only dry or hard food without taking water. Today I will talk about how to know if you’re constipated and how to treat constipation locally or at home.
If you mix a lot of food and suddenly feel sick, you might be constipated. For instance there’s a grand party with lots of food, you eat and eat and eat and just keep eating mixing different types of food. Don’t be surprised if you feel sick. Feeling sick in this instance might mean you’re constipated. You will feel uncomfortable and feel the need to get instant treatment
This is another way people can determine if they’re constipating. If you burg and realize it smells like a mixture of food or drinks you’ve recently taken, it could be a sign of constipation. Burping with the smell of a food you’ve taken could either be the early or later stages on constipation regardless of how severe yours is. It’s also like a sign or warning there’s a slow food digestion process currently taking place. This is another determinant telling a person he/she has constipation

Because of this slow digestion, you won’t feel the need to eat making you really full even though you haven’t had anything to eat
You feel nauseous but you’re 100% sure you’re not sick, you might be constipated. Your body can’t take any more and your digestive track can’t keep up. This makes you feel nauseous, and very uncomfortable. This is another way people determine if they are constipated. They suddenly feel sick after eating or taking a lot of various food combinations. Most people tend to feel better after they vomit but it still won’t resolve the constipation
I have given four symptoms of Constipation. Usually, people get more than one symptom when constipated. It can even be a mix of all four symptoms. To get rid of constipation, it is recommended to drink plenty of water. This water will help ease digestion so everything goes smoothly. Another reason why water is important is because it helps soften dry and hard food and also stool. This greatly helps the digestive track and the human body in general. It is recommended to drink a minimum of five to ten glasses of water a day
If you’re constipating, it is good to eat less so you can perfectly digest what’s already in you. It is recommended to eat fruits when you’re constipated. It’s also good to avoid heavy and hard meals when you’re constipating because you have to ease your stomach and make your stool light. Drinking sauce is also recommended as sauce or soup in general helps in easing digestion benefiting the colon. Fruits like watermelon will be very important.
If you want to clear constipation fast, Bicarbonate is the way to go. The Bicarbonate being emphasized here is powdered. You need to put a teaspoon of bicarbonate in a glass of water and drink. This will greatly ease the digestion process. After taking it, you’ll burp which is actually a good sign. In less than an hour or an hour, you will eventually feel better. Though Bicarbonate hasn’t been scientifically proven to cure, it’s been known to greatly help constipation and I also use it when I’m constipated
Rest is also very important. Rest here means sleeping. If you’re constipated, it is good to sleep because this boosts the digestive process making you easily pass your bowel. Rest is very important for the digestive track. Benefiting the Colon and easing stool hardness as a whole Take enough fluid and relax. Don’t eat so much and you will get better
Similar to rest, exercise is also beneficial. Yes, it might be difficult to do that when you feel so sick and uncomfortable. Sport is a physical exercise done to maintain good health. Sport here shouldn’t be something so severe. You just need to sweat. If you’re constipated and feel tired, walk around and just sweat. This will benefit your physical health over all
Constipation is a medical issue plaguing society. It is believed over 80% of the population suffer from constipation at least once in their lifetime. This means almost everyone in the world get to face it at least once in their life.
