DragonBall super reveals the relations between the Gammas, Saiyaman X-1 and Saiyaman X-2

DragonBall super for some time now has been adapting the super Hero movie. Chapter 97 is no different as the manga is close to completing the movie. In chapter 96, Cell Max was released from his pod and he’s going berserk. Piccolo and the others plan on stopping Cell Max before he causes more chaos. Cell Max under attack

This chapter begins with Cell Max being attacked. Saiyaman X-1 and Saiyaman X-2 are coordinating a joint attack against Cell Max but Cell Max is more powerful and overpowers them. Goten and Trunks are weak because they haven’t been training. That’s because they’ve both been grounded for over half a year. Piccolo and Gohan decide to join the fight but they’re stopped by Goten and Trunks. Goten and Trunks believe they can do better when they go Super Saiyan. Gammas connection to Goten and Trunks

They both go Super Saiyan and this time they’re both giving Cell Max trouble. Gamma 2 and Gamma 1 watching the Saiyans fight realize Dr. Hedo took inspiration from Saiyaman X-1 and Saiyaman X-2 when designing them hence the similarities. Dr. Hedo is a super hero fan and mentioned in the past how he loves the designs of Saiyaman X-1 and Saiyaman X-2. The Gammas both assist Goten and Trunks and before they charge at Cell Max, they jointly do a pose. I think it’s very wholesome. Together, the four of them work together doing an attack known as “Cyclone Style! Tornado Super Hurricane”. The move was so strong it sent Cell Max flying.

Joint attack

Cell Max came back stronger and fierce. Goten and Trunks decide to fuse for more power but they accidently make an error during the process resulting in a chubby Gotenks. Gotenks isn’t as strong and can’t keep up with Cell Max so Piccolo, Android 18 and Gohan decide to join the fight. Krillin decides to stay behind to take care of Pan. They all attack Cell Max but he’s unfazed by their attack.

Cell Max's weakness

Cell Max’s weak point is the top of his head. According to Gamma 2, Dr. Hedo made sure he had one but the moment the hit point is hit, it will trigger a massive explosion that obliterates every last one Cell Max’s cells. After trying to hit Cell Max’s head, they finally do so after a precise joint attack though it didn’t destroy the top of its head. This causes Cell Max Cell to start acting up releasing massive explosions from his entire body putting Pan’s life in danger because she cant fly. Pan was luckily saved by Krillin.

Closure

This chapter concludes with the Gammas plotting something against Cell Max. As someone who’s watched the movie, I know what it is but I won’t spoil you. There were major differences between what happened in this chapter and the Super Hero movie. This chapter resulted in close relations between Goten, Trunks and the Gammas because of the past buildup unlike the movie.
