New Pokèmon Anime 2023 Gets Key Visual as well as Teaser Trailer

Pokèmon Journeys : The series also known as Pocket Monsters officially came to an end on the fourth of December 2020(4 December 2020) in Japan and officially started airing in other parts of the world from 2020 to 2021. It is the twenty-third season of the franchise with season 24 being "Pokèmon Masters Journeys: The series" and 25 as "Pokèmon Ultimate Journeys : The series" which is the last featuring the story of Ash. As we all know, the Pokèmon anime has been airing for more than twenty(20) years now precisely 25years now with over 1200 episodes overall and there has been various seasons to keep it going with twenty-five(25) seasons in number.


Pokèmon Ultimate Journeys: The Series will end after an 11 episode special arc which will be an official sendoff to Ash and Pikachu. The special arc was confirmed to air in January 23 2023 in Japan but release date is still unknown for the rest of the world. Pokèmon Ultimate Journey: The Series being the third and final season of the pokèmon journey series is on its way to completion and fans have been wondering what happens next after the journey of Ash, Goh and Chloe . It was a long journey but Ash finally became the world champion after beating Galar Champion Leon during the Masters Eight(8) tournament. Goh went on investigating project Mew meanwhile Chloe is on a quest to figure out how to evolve her Eevee.

On 16 December 2022, there was an official announcement of a new Pokèmon series coming in 2023 Centered around another character instead of Ash . It was also confirmed the new series will feature two new protagonists as its main start-up characters will be a boy and a girl . The new series was also confirmed to highlight on some popular Pokèmon from the Pokèmon Scarlet and Pokèmon Violet video games. such as Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly


Key Visual

With great anticipation, fans have been patiently waiting for more information about the new Pokèmon series. On March 3rd 2023, a new key visual was officially revealed for Pokèmon(2023). The new key visual was released on the official Pokèmon website and fans are excited for what’s to come.
The new visual features our main protagonists along with their Pokemon. The main protagonists here are Liko and Roy. The poster features these main protagonists along with some fan-favourite Pokèmon such as a Pikachu with a super cute captain hat, Charizard, RockRuff and the Pokèmon stated above which were Sprigatito, Quaxly and Fuecoco and lots of other Pokèmon. The key visual’s background is a beautiful blue sky with clouds and there’s also an exploding airship at the top. It’s honestly visually stunning. Aside from our main protagonists, the airship and the Pokèmon in this key visual. We also see someone with black and white hair along with his Pokèmon meaning there are chances he's the main antagonist instead of the iconic Team Rocket.

Furthermore, we also got to see a trailer revealing more details about the upcoming Pokèmon animated series. The trailer literally opens up with “Brand-new details about the upcoming new Pokèmon animated series”. The trailer first emphasizes on Liko “The Girl with the awe-inspiring Pendant” saying “I won’t find anything unless I look for it myself!”, Roy “the boy with the mysterious Pokè ball” saying “I want to challenge the Pokèmon from the legends!” and finally Friede and captain Pikachu. Friede said “Since I’m a Pokèmon Professor, this really gets me fired up!”. What these characters say in this trailer matters because it’s linked to their actual goals in this upcoming Pokèmon series.
The trailer then ends up talking about how Liko and Roy are about to go on an adventure in a world filled with mysteries and wonder and also emphasizing on what their destinies hold along with their upcoming discoveries.
The trailer concludes telling fans the new series will premiere in Japan with an hour-long special on April 14

Finally, fans also got to see an art of our main protagonists on the official Twitter Pokèmon channel featuring the character designs of Liko and Roy.
