Dragon Ball Daima reveals the weakness of the Tertain Oculus, also called the Third Eye

Dragon Ball Daima episode 19 is titled “Betrayal”. The most important information revealed in this episode was how to defeat a being that wield the Tertian Oculus otherwise known as the Third Eye. Demon King Gomah wore the Third Eye on his forehead and this greatly boosted his powers. Goku, Glorio, Vegeta, Piccolo, Nahare (Supreme Kai), Majin Duu and others went up against Gomah to no avail. Goku even awakened Super Saiyan 4 but he still lost. Dragon Ball Daima episode 18 concluded with Glorio making a wish.

Glorio's wish

The first highlight of episode 19 was Glorio’s wish. Turns out Glorio went against Arinsu and decided to turn Goku and the others into adults. Gomah alongside Degesu turned them into kids and that is the most important plot point that set the series in motion. Goku, Vegeta and the others were overjoyed but Glorio felt bad. This is because Arinsu is said to have rescued Glorio from the Third Demon Realm and she took care of him, so Glorio feels bad about disobeying her orders. Arinsu fired Glorio and he left.

Power of Tertian Oculuis

As adults, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and the others were much more powerful. Vegeta fought against Gomah. Vegeta power easily outclassed that of Goku especially when Vegeta went to Super Saiyan three mode but Vegeta’s attacks had no effect and the reason for this is the tertian Oculus. Vegeta was simply wasting his stamina on moves that won’t do any damage. Gomah on the other hand did not become exhausted because of the power of the Tertian Oculus.

Removal of Tertian Oculus

Arinsu decided to assist Glorio, Goku and the other fighters by looking for a way to stop Gomah. Arinsu remembers Demon King Abura frequently attacking and removing the Third Eye (Tertian Oculus) at will. In order to fully understand what was going on, Arinsu decided to check the Book of Magic Items. Majin Kuu was asked to retrieve the book from Archive Number 37. Majin Kuu also assisted in looking for information about the Tertian Oculus in the book.

Arinsu didn’t speak of any weakness but she told Goku and the others a way to remove the Tertian Oculus from Gomah’s head. It can be removed if the back of King Gomah’s head can be hit three times in a row. Vegeta stamina was low so he was asked to stop fighting so another can take over (Goku). Vegeta didn’t refused but later changed his mind when Bulma threatened to never take a bath with him. Dragon Ball Daima episode 19 concluded with Goku transforming to Super Saiyan 4 to take on Gomah.

Closure

Next episode will most likely conclude the fight against Demon King Gomah. An important note is just how powerful the Tertian Oculus is. The Tertian Oculus is believed to give Demon Kings a power boost, making them unstoppable. King Gomah so far is unstoppable because of the Third Eye so this magic item is one of the most powerful in the franchise.
