The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is Coming to Fortnite. What You Need to Know

The Fortnite X Ford Mustang crossover is here and there’s so much excitement among Fortnite fans. Fortnite usually has several crossovers throughout the year but it’s usually not car brands. Most of the time it is with music artists or crossovers with other popular IPs, not car brands. This article will reveal details about this crossover and information on how to access the Mustang Shelby GT500.


Fortnite X Ford


Fortnite is currently collaborating with Ford through the Fortnite X Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. The Mustang Shelby GT500 is a high performance Vehicle developed by Ford Special Vehicle Team in collaboration with Carroll Shelby. The Shelby GT500 is one of the fastest Mustangs ever with the 2024 model having a top speed of over 290km/h, and it has a powerful engine (5.2 liter supercharged V8 engine) with a 7-speed dual-cloth automatic transmission speed. The vehicle is a catch and Ford has been trying to promote it even more despite its success. The vehicle is making its way to the Fortnite game now but it can be found in other games for instance Forza and Gran Turismo. Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 (1967 model) can be found in Forza Horizon 5. The Mustang Shelby GT500 can also be found in Gran Turismo 6 although it’s the 2013 model. Fornite players will have access to the 1967 model of the Shelby GT500.

Fortnite players will have access to the Mustang Shelby GT500 in the game because of upcoming crossover. The vehicle will be in the item shop and will be priced at 2500 V-bucks. The bundle will include the Car, Decals (Formula Ford Decal, Mustang and Silver Bullet), and Wheels called Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 (they can’t be edited), trails and boost.


Closure


So far, no release date have been made known to the public although some Fortnite players might have early access to the Mustang Shelby GT500. The fact there’s already a trailer promoting the upcoming crossover means the release is not too far off.
