Monica Rambeau Just Got a Husband(Monica Rambeau:Photon Issue 02)

Monica Rambeau has a very grim future. According to Yelena, Monica has a dark fate and is going to destroy the universe but Monica doesn’t believe
it but its obvious things will turn out that way. The events that happened in Issue 2 make that fate very possible.
Monica Tries To Save The World
So this issue begins with Monica waking up on a boat in the sea. She can’t recall what happened. She sails the boat to land trying to recall what happened. She recalls being and her parents place and going to get some fresh air and that’s it. Everything after that to her is blank.
She sees as asteroid coming down to earth and Monica has to go save the day, she couldn’t stop it so she decided to go into it and break it into many several small pieces but she’s stuck. She knows she’s stronger and can break it down but there’s something wrong with her body. She feels there’s a dark force tapping out of her. The asteroid takes Monica into the sea and she’s feels weird because it felt smooth. Monica believes she’s drowning, she doesn’t want to drown though and keeps fighting it and when she wakes up , she encounters a woman who doesn’t have an actual name but introduces herself as The Beyonder. Monica was actually surprised because she felt as though Beyonder could read her thoughts. Beyonder took the form of a woman in this case.
Monica Meets The Beyonder
Monica tries flying away but Beyonder stops her and she’s upset. Monica believes she’s met the person Beyonder is impersonating but Beyonder reaffirms to Monica she’s never met or encountered her before today. Beyonder tells Monica she’s incredible holding a bouquet of flowers which just appeared.
She then lets Monica go telling her to relax. Surprisingly, the Avengers team shows up and Monica is shocked referring saying they look like a blast from the past. It’s Captain America, Thor, Droctor Strange, She-Hulk and Dane. They had a weird reading and they were looking for a source. It turns out it was Beyonder. Monica seeing the team thinks she probably hit her head and went back to the past. Monica speaks to Dane and tells him to remember the past about what the Beyonder did. Dane and the others think Monica’s a captain but she knows she’s not and very confused.
What The Beyonder Cannot Understand
Beyonder moved the ship to a dry land and the area was much clustered. The Beyonder’s spirit was tugged across the vast expanse of Space to learn about things he/she/it could not understand.
The first was Desire. The Beyonder believes Desire is quite alien to him/her because he/she(she in this case) can mold the fabric of the universe into any desired form making every single desired fulfilled. Beyonder believes the engine that drives the world which is desire is meaningless to him/her/it wishing to experience that kind of feel. Beyonder says this while turning that clustered city into a rainforest
The second was By Raw Power referring to it as Something Almost Rivaling his/her own. This raw power the Beyonder is referring to is from Monica but Beyonder is surprised Monica is enshrouded with tremendous yearnings and wants.
What Brought The Beyonder
The Avengers are basically discussing if Monica will be a good leader or not. Monica tired of the madness tries to run away but Beyonder won’t let her go. Monica tries convincing them about what Beyonder does which is reshaping the world but everything becomes completely white (nothingness). The Beyonder thinks this issue is between both of them so it would be better if everything was private.
Monica now starts releasing her heartache. She says Beyonder came because she feels this world is broken and wants to fix it by changing it to a better version of itself. Beyonder now tells Monica she didn’t send Monica anywhere or tear her out of her reality. What brought Beyonder was drawn by Monica’s energy and believes there’s something about it. Beyonder wanted to understand Monica but she could only sense her energy because something broke down universal wall as energy was flooding between this world and another.
Monica's Husband
Monica then recalls the Stone of Hala and Dr. Strange talking about how it opens portals between worlds hence the energy leak. Beyonder takes Monica to the other Avengers on Monica’s request with the goal of fixing what’s happening returning them to the clustered city. Dr Strange told Monica they already voted regardless of whether she was present or not
Dr. Strange talks about Monica attracting the Beyonder because of her lack on fulfillment emphasizing on how her parents died when she was still young.Monica is shocked uses a speed of light to move all of them to her parents place. She decided to check if her parents were still alive but surprisingly, the person who opened the door was a man. His name is Jericho Drumm and introduced himself as Monica’s husband.
Closure
So its obvious things in the universe has been altered but now it’s uncertain if it’s the Beyonder or its Monica but all that’s certain is there’s some kind of energy leak in the Universe its there’s a possibility it was caused by the Stone of Hala but as of right now, Monica or Miss Marvel has a husband.
