Most of you don’t know who Moon Girl is and I’m sure just hearing about that name might actually surprise a lot of people but remember; if it’s part of the Marvel, anything is possible. I will be talking about who Moon girl, what her powers are and how she came to be doing a recap of who is…….? Moon Girl Infinity Comic Issue #1.
Lunella Lafayette
Moon Girl also known as Lunella Lafayette is a kid who carries the inhuman gene. She lives in New York with her parents and she’s a brilliant kid. She calls herself a scientist and knows her mental capabilities. There was an urgent situation in New York at the time. There was a Terrigen Cloud floating around New York City and it was triggering inhuman DNA transformations in people and she wasn’t sure whether she’ll become a monster or something dangerous. These transformations don’t apply to everyone. There’s a specific set of people it’s said to affect. Lunella precisely said “People Like me”.
Devil Dinosaur
That’s when she found a Kree Omni-wave projector and she thought it was amazing. Lunella seemed like the projector could move through space and time and that’s when something mysterious happened. Out of nowhere, a wild red alien dinosaur appeared coming from a portal. Lunella was shocked. The portal was created by the Omni-wave projector when Lunella messed with it.
The Omni-wave projector's Status
Lunella unfortunately lost the omni-wave projector when Hulk wanted to arrest the red dinosaur. According to Lunella, some hairy bullies later on wanted that projector for their own reasons. If I were to describe them, I’d say they look like dwarfs from Lord of the Rings. Lunella’s parents wanted to keep her out of harms ways so they locked her up in her room.

She eventually teamed up with Devil Dinosaur and got the omni-wave projector back so she can use that to work and try figuring out a way to stop the inhuman transformation. Lunella was too late though because she couldn’t escape the Terrigen Cloud anymore and her transformation happened. The Terrigenesis didn’t turn her into a monster like other people but something else happened. She’s able to swap consciousness with Devil Dinosaur every full moon meaning the Dino’s mind in her body and her mind is in Devil Dinosaur body. She doesn’t have a problem with this as long as she doesn’t lose her “scientific mind”, curiosity and her ability to create things when she’s human.
She now saves the city with her partner Devil Dinosaur by her side and they make a good team up even though she does it in secret because she doesn’t want her parents to find out. When going out at night, she tries getting home before her parents even notice she’s gone.

Moon girl sometime misses being a normal kid because she thinks its inconvenient trying to balance being a kid and a crime fighting scientist but she’s content because she knows there are very few people out there who can say they a super hero who partners with a Dinosaur. Moon girl has also worked with some super heroes such as Fantastic 4 though she’s just a kid
When she’s not fighting crime, she’s usually in her lab. The lab is located beneath her school and there she invents devices that help with crime fighting and she believes its “an outlet for the science she doesn’t get to use in class”. An example is when she invented indestructible lenses that switch to night vision to assist her and Devil Dinosaur.
Closure
Now you know why she’s called Moon Girl. It’s because she swaps consciousness with her best friend or partner known as Devil Dinosaur every full moon.
