Naruto X Boruto: Ultimate Ninja storm connections reveals details its story mode

Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja storm Connections is a new game which is another installment in the storm franchise. So there’s been a lot of buzz around this game with emphasis on both great expectations and little to no expectations. As of right now, though not everything is known about the game we’re getting information in little pieces.

Update: The game's premise

So we know this game will feature a huge character roster having playable characters across all past storm games but not a lot of new additions have been given.

Another game update has been revealed and this time it’s about the story or premise of Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja storm Connections. It was revealed earlier this year this game will get a “new story” which will be Boruto focused. Now that we have more insight about the story, it might not be what people expected.

The premise was revealed in a new teaser trailer so I’m going to talk about that. I'm going to put a link to the trailer below

Naruto as a villain

The first main aspect of this trailer is emphasizes on Naruto vs. Sasuke. It starts off with Adult Naruto vs. Adult Sasuke and from my observation; Naruto is being controlled by someone or something because his eyes didn’t look normal. This means Naruto might be a villain in this game which is something I didn’t expect in my lifetime (Naruto being a villain in a game). He didn’t sound crazy or like a puppet so I think it’s some kind of manipulation. The fight between both of them were pointed out in several instances during the trailer

The Fifth Great Ninja War

The second aspect of this trailer was the Fifth Great Ninja war. In this trailer, we see there’s a war and this war is called the fifth Great Ninja war. So this war was caused by Brand new original characters known as Nanashi(blonde lady) and Merz. They are both the main focus in this game and I believe Nanashi has an ability that manipulates people and Merz is like the mastermind. Their powers and abilities as of right now is unknown. Also I think Nanashi was able to cast her jutsu on not only Naruto but also others in the hidden leaf village. Ishiki is also part of this game so he has to play a part in the story somehow.

As of the writing of this article, the games release date is still unknown and more information will be given later about possible new characters and about the game in general.
