Boruto Two Blue Vortex confirms who’s responsible for the scar on Code’s left eye

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 2 has finally been released. This chapter gave lots of interesting hints about the Claw Grimes and about Boruto’s strength and power level after the time skip. Boruto responsible for Code's scar

This chapter begins with conversation between Boruto and Code. Code decided to attack Konoha because he’s been searching for Boruto so his goal was to draw Boruto out. Boruto urges Code to withdraw his minions (claw grimes) while he’s still able to control them. Boruto having Momoshiki’s karma has been shown to possess the ability of foresight (ability to see the future). Momoshiki did so in the past so there’s a huge possibility Boruto has mastered this ability.

Its confirmed Boruto clashed with Code in the past (2 years before the Time skip) and Boruto is responsible for Code’s scar which can be found on his left eye. Boruto threatens to kill Code if he doesn't leave Konoha but Code wont.

The Claw Grimes evolve

There’s a battle taking place between Team 10 and the claw Grimes. Shikadai, ChoCho and Inojin are helping to contain the threat. According to ChoCho, the Claw Grimes are “weak and just numbers”. Inojin saved ChoCho from a Claw Grime putting Himawari’s life in danger because this minion tried to attack Himawari who was on Inojins super beast scroll jutsu. Kawaki hit the claw Grime and Inojin saved Himawari. Something unusual happened.

This claw Grime activated the Rinnegan. Shkadai believed this Claw Grime evolved because it wasn’t like the others. This claw grime teleported through another and smashing Kawaki’s face on the ground. Shikadai was able to restrain it via his Shadow paralysis jutsu and Kawaki destroyed it. More and more Claw Grimes started popping up with this one’s passing.

Boruto's warning

Claw Grimes also attacked Boruto but Boruto easily destroys all of them. His kenjutsu skills are now top notch. Boruto plans on wiping out Code’s entire claw Grimes army if they attack him. Code doesn’t care about his claw grimes because to him, they’re just tools but Boruto insists on Code not understanding “the true horrors of the ten tails”.

"Tree"

Sarada along with other hidden leaf Shinobi are trying to contain the threat by destroying the Claw Grime but something happens. Sarada is saved by a shinobi called Soegi and this claw Grime bit him. After the claw Grime bit him, it became a tree. This phenomenon is happening all over konoha village.

Boruto threatens Code

Code knows about the ten tails as opposed to what Boruto thinks. The ten tails devoir Ohtsutsuki and instinctively bite anybody in their vicinity until they run into an Ohtsutsuki. Boruto insists the Claw Grimes are different because they’ve been enhanced by Code. Boruto urges Code to “scrap them while he still can” or else they’ll end in in the “possible worst future”. This gives more bases to Boruto’s foresight ability.

Code doesn’t care and expects the worst possible future (the planets death). This time, Boruto asks Code to take him to the “the main body” of the ten tails. This means there’s something special about the main body. Boruto believes he can easily kill Code and threatens Code but Code still refuses.

Closure

This chapter concludes with Boruto going for the attack and creating a brand new Rasengan Variant known as “The Rasengan Uzuhiko”. This isn’t like the others because it’s like a shield around Boruto. This attack Boruto’s body feels like the Rasengan itself. This chapter just confirmed Time skip Boruto is by far stronger than Jigen because Code without his limiters is Jigen’s level. In fact Boruto spoke about defeating unlimited Code when he was younger. This means there’s a huge possibility Boruto was Jigen’s level 1 year after the events of the prophecy arc. Also, judging from the events of this chapter, there are chances the Claw Grimes will get to taste an Ohtsutsuki but it won’t be Boruto. They might get Kawaki because of his recklessness
