Naruto X Boruto: Ultiamate Ninja Storm Connections to Get New Otsutsuki characters, cat ear accessories, Family finishers and more

Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja storm connections was announced some while back and fans have been contemplating whether to get it or not. There have been game updates over time so I will be talking about those. Some will include new confirmed characters, jutsus, and game modes. There will still be more updates later on so all the information is what has been confirmed.

About The Game
Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja storm connections is a 3d fighting game developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Bandai Namco Games. It’s the seventh installment in the ultimate ninja storm series. This game was announced on February 23, 2023. This game will feature characters from across all other storm games and it’s confirmed to have a Boruto-centric story added to its main story. DLC characters from Storm 4 will also make its way into this game.
Some New Characters
Some new characters confirmed for this game is Kawaki, Boruto(Karma), Mitsuki(sage mode), Isshiki, Adult Konohamaru, Toneri Otsutsuki, Indra and even Asura. This game will feature characters from previous storm games such as Akatsuki members, the Five Kage’s and Shinobi across the Narutoverse. This game will also feature some new transformations. An example is Naruto who has been confirmed to have access to Baryon Mode. Aside from this, the game will also have new skins. Other characters from Boruto’s generation are expected to be in this game such as Shikadai, Chocho and Inojin who are all members of team 10 but as of right now, it hasn’t been confirmed if they will be playable characters or not.
Customizations
There will be a new online games modes, team systems and events. There will also be new customizations of cards and characters. Players will be able to customize a character’s costume based on combat rewards. As of right now, the only customization seen are the members of Team 7 having the cat ear accessories and I absolutely love it.
More About Gameplay
There won’t be huge gameplay changes from storm 4 but there will be new/ improved mechanics. This game will also consist of;
1-Ranked Matches: "Battle Shinobi from all around the world and aim for the top ranks! Compete with opponents of a similar skill level". Ranked matches is just like online play
2-Casual Matches: "Forget about ranking s and have relaxing, stakes-free battle! Use your favorite ninja and enjoy anime-esque fights". As of now, these are the two match-types confirmed. Casual matches here pay heavy emphasis on offline or local matches.
Its currently unknown if there will be more but I think so because most storm game's have a tournament mode so it’s possible this one also has a shinobi tournament.
Uzumaki and Uchiha Family Finisher
This game will also feature New Ultimate Jutsus. New ultimate Jutsu’s for the Uchiha and Uzumaki family has been confirmed. This means the Uzumaki family will have a joint finishing move as well as the Uchiha family. As of right now, it’s unsure if Himawari will be involved in the Uzumaki family Ultimate Jutsu or if she will even be playable. This is because she wasn’t in the short video.
Closure
As of right now, no official trailer about this game has been released. Its release date as we speak is also currently unknown as it hasn’t been announced yet but more information will be released at V-Jump or during the PlayStation showcase. A demo of the game is being confirmed to be worked on and is expected to be released soon along with the trailer.
