Disney Characters Confirmed For Fortnite in Fall 2024

Fortnite is a popular battle royal game developed by Epic Games. It is an online game meaning it’s prone to frequent updates and changes. Some of these updates include collaborations with other popular IP which can be seen as crossover. There are lots of crossovers in Fortnite which makes the game exciting and fresh even though it’s been over 5 years since the games release. Some of these crossovers include Fortnite X My Hero Academia, Fortnite X Rocket League, Fortnite X Lady Gaga and much more.


D23


During the D23 Event, it was announced Disney Animated Characters will be coming to Fortnite this fall. The D23 Expo or event is a fan convention where Disney unveils new projects, makes announcement about upcoming movies, TV shows and much more. This event takes place every two years and this year there was a lot of updates. This article will emphasize on those related to Fortnite. Disney announced several collaborations with Fortnite during this event.


Fortnite X Disney Villains


The first detail revealed about this collaboration was Fortnite X Disney Villains. The skins of three Disney villains will be coming to Fortnite which includes Cruella de Vil, Maleficent and Captain Hook.

The second collaboration with Disney revealed during D23 was Fortnites collaboration with Pixar which will include characters from the Incredible. During this announcement, a glimpse of Frozone, Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl were revealed. These skins will be coming to Fortnite later this fall.


Fortnite X Star Wars


The third collaboration for the Epic games X Disney collaboration was Fortnite X Star Wars Crossover. In this case, IG-11 and Moff Gideon skins will be coming to Fortnite. The Grogu back bling will also be included. This is will be available on the Fortnite Item store on August 12 PT.


Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4


The final main announcement during the Event related to Fortnite was the announcement of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 known as “Absolute Doom”. This includes variety of characters from Marvel be it the Avengers or the X-Men which include Doctor Doom, Emma Frost, War Machine, Mysterio, Gwenpool, Shuri, Captain Josey and a character who is the fusion of Wolverine and Peely (Fortnite character). Simpsons Rumor


There’s a rumor which suggests The Simpsons will be coming to Fortnite or there’s going to be a crossover between Fortnite and the Simpsons. Al though this information is not guaranteed and it’s just a rumor, the major reason why this information is making “waves” across social media is its source. The information was revealed by handler @samLeakss on X, formally known as Twitter. This account is known for leaking details about Fortnite. The rumor suggests Fortnite X “The Simpsons” is in Development. This account also revealed where he got anonymous information from.

SamLeakss got the information from an Anonymous Source via Email. This anonymous source is also responsible for leaking the Fortnite X Disney shop + Avatar Collaboration. The Fortnite x Disney + Avatar collaboration was leaked earlier and the leak turned out to be true. The D23 Event recently took place which just confirmed the rumor.


Closure


There’s a lot of excitement about the Disney X Fornite crossover. Aside from Fortnite Chapter 5 season 4, no release date has been revealed for most of the upcoming crossovers. All that’s known if the collaboration begins this fall.
