Two Blue Vortex Confirms Boruto’s Flying skills

Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 6 is out now and it is titled “Three Years”. This chapter takes place after the events of last chapter which was really interesting. Chapter 5 emphasized on the will of the evolved Claw Grime (Jura, Mitsuri, Hidari). Shikamaru is on the cover of this chapter. To read Boruto two Blue Vortex Chapter 6, click here.

Konoha Council

Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter six begins with Shikamaru seeking advice from the Konoha council. It has two members (Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane). The advice was regarding Boruto. Shikamaru told them about the situation in regards to Boruto’s return and the elders advised him and the others to eliminate Boruto at all cost. According to the elders, this issue will greatly reflect on the honor of Konoha. They spoke about how the existence of the village might be in danger. They did so comparing it to the budget meaning Konoha is going through a financial crisis. It is also revealed in this conversation Shikamaru hasn’t formally accepted the title of “Lord Eight”.

Ino was also introduced this chapter and she is seen giving Shikamaru a log containing information. During a private talk he had with Ino via her mind transmission Jutsu, he told her the content of that log will determine the future of konoha. Ino did so privately because she didn’t want Eida and the others to be aware.

Kawaki on Jura's plan

The next interaction in the chapter is between Kawaki, Eida and Daemon. Eida was informing Kawaki about what Jura and the other evolved Claw Grimes were talking about. This included their goals which was to not only kill other Otsutsuki but also Naruto. Kawaki promised to defend Naruto at all cost but Daemon said something really intriguing.

Daemon believes if Jura and the others come attack, the entire village might realize Kawaki was lying about Naruto’s death. This would put Kawaki at odds with Konoha. Kawaki listening to what the kid said was upset and left. Before leaving, Kawaki also asked about Code but Eida said these Claw Grimes were out of Code’s league meaning they are all stronger than Code (without his limiters) who according to Amado is stronger than Jigen.

Boruto, Sarada and Sumire

Boruto, Sarada and Sumire have a chance to talk to each other after three years. Sarada was shy because of how she hugged Boruto last chapter. Sumire starts off the conversation by asking Boruto how he’s doing. Boruto was also surprised Sarada hugged him. The reason the sensory unit wasn’t about to detect Boruto was because he erased his chakra signature. It was revealed in the past Otsutsuki can erase their Chakra signature. Boruto told Sarada about what happened to her dad. Sasuke was absorbed by the Ten Tails and became a tree. Boruto believes they are evolving. You see the ten tails were supposed to absorb chakra and later on absorb an Otsutsuki becoming a divine tree. These claw Grimes on the other hand absorb people and become a divine tree, they then create a replica of the person that was absorbed. Boruto believes this is because of Code’s karma.

Shikamaru's resolve

Kawaki sensed Boruto but he couldn’t do anything. Mitsuki used his justu to inject venom into him making Kawaki pass out. Mitsuki then came after Boruto in his sage transformation mode. Boruto trying to escaope from Mitsuki flew away. Boruto has finally figured out how to fly. Boruto could do so in the past but it was only when Momoshiki was in control. This is more impressive when you realize he is doing this without karma activated. Shikamaru communicated with Boruto via Ino’s mind transmission Jutsu accepting his memories have been fabricated. Shikamaru also confirmed he’s just the interim Hokage and he did so because he needed Boruto’s help.

Closure

This chapter concluded with Boruto and Sage Mitsuki meeting face-to-face outside Konoha. This chapter wasn’t action packed but it emphasized on some key points. Shikamaru actually believes Boruto and he’s probably plotting something against Eida and Kawaki. Secondly, Boruto can now fly on his own without Momoshiki’s help. It was a good set up chapter for the future.
