Dragon Ball Super Chapter 100 concludes the manga adaptation of the Super Hero Movie

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 100 has been released and it concluded to manga adaptation of the 2022 Super Hero Movie. This chapter is titled “Burst Forth- Beam of Light” which is reference to Gohan’s attack. Gohan awakened a new transformation known as “Beast” and this attack is going to be a true determinant of this new form. As a reminder, I’ve already watched the Super Hero movie so I already know what happens. Just checking for some differences. To read Dragon Ball Super Chapter 100, click here.
Beam Of Death
This chapter begins with a clash of attack between Beast Gohan and Cell Max. The first four panels gave a beautiful colored perspective of both attacks which I loved. It‘s rare to see colored images in manga and it was a treat.
During this clash, Cell was holding his own but Goten and Trunks hit the arm of Cell Max facilitating Gohans victory. The Beam of Death destroyed Cells forehead which killed him. The team had to flee because Cell Max blew up. After that they came together and it was a wholesome reunion. Pan was so happy. Dr. Hedo on the other hand was not happy because they lost Gamma #2 during the fight His body eventually faded away.
Gohan named his final attack the Beam of Death when Piccolo asked what it was. Gohan thought its name was cringe but still chose it.
Dr. Hedo and Gamma #1 hired
Hedo witnessing what happened to Gamma #2 was so sad and he apologized to the others. He blames himself for creating Cell Max. Gamma #2 died because he unleashed all his energy in one burst. Hedo felt really bad and the others did too. Bulma was surprised Hedo survived all those blasts and he said it’s because he modified his skin. Krillin decided to pardon Hedo of his crimes so since Hedo didn’t have anything else to do. He asked Bulma if she can hire him.
Bulma accepted because with Hedo’s expertise, he can also make skin look younger and that’s what Bulma lives for. She also decided to hire Gamma #1and he will be a bodyguard.
Carmine's escape
Pan also showed off <her flying skills and everyone was so happy. Carmine is seen escaping meaning unlike Magenta, he survived. Because of all the loss of life and property, Carmine and some of his followers decided to head to the Red Pharmaceuticals to recuperate
Vegeta beats Goku
There has been a battle between Goku and Vegeta for several chapters now. This chapter concluded the fight and Vegeta actually win the fight. Vegeta was happy because he always lags behind Goku but this was actually different.
Closure
This is the conclusion of the manga adaptation of the Super Hero Movie. The manga will most likely start a brand new arc next year and I can’t wait to see it. Reading this chapter, there were some differences. First, in the movie, the Beam of Death easily went through Cell Max’s attack but in the manga, Cell Max still held his own until Gotena and Trunks decided to hit his arm. Gohan still had the upper advantage though. Secondly, the movie didn’t emphasize on Carmine’s escape. With the new info, he might have an important role moving forward.
