Boruto two blue vortex reveals why Himawari has the Nine tails

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 10 has been released and there’s so much to talk about. Last chapter, it was revealed Kurama is now in Himawari. This reveal came after Jura sensed the nine tails Chakra in Konoha and it turned out to be in Himawari. Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 10 is titled “Kernel’. Konohamaru joins the conflict

This chapter begins with Team 10 taking off with an unconscious Himawari. They escaped via Inojins Super Beast Scroll. Jura and Hidari were interrupted by Konohamaru and other konoha shinobi. Shikamaru was communicating with Konohamaru through the Yamanaka’s mind transmission Jutsu. Konohamaru informed shikamaru about the situation on ground. Shikamaru also informed Kawaki about what’s happening in relation to Himawari. Kawaki left for Himawari immediately.

Sarada encounters Hidari

Jura went after Team 10. Hidari interrupted Konohamaru from interfering with Jura. A short battle took place between Sarada and Hidari. In this scuffle, Hidari tried attacking Sarada with Chidori but Sarada evaded and hit Hidari with her own chidori. It’s at this moment Sarada, Konohamaru, Sumire suspected Hidari might be Sasuke. The Sensory team even informed Konohamaru the person he’s against has the chakra signature of Sasuke.

Why Himawari got Kurama

This chapter takes us to where chapter 9 concluded which was a conversation between Himawari and the nine tails. Kurama introduces himself to Himawari but she’s shocked he’s communicating with her. Reminder, this interaction is taking place in Himawari’s mind. The interaction that takes place between Himawari and Kurama is very important because it clears out a lot of misconceptions. Kurama’s previous self-coexisted inside Naruto but his flames were extinguished but Biju’s don’t die forever. This was already explained in Naruto. In the words of Kurama “Even if their flesh or soul perishes over time, a kernel of us will sprout somewhere and we will manage to return to life”. It’s uncertain how long the resurrection process takes or where “it might sprout”.

Kurama was surprised he was reborn in Himawari, he emphasized on how Himawari may have been born inheriting some of his chakra or it was destiny brought into being by the mixing of Uzumaki and Hyuga blood which exists in Himawari.

Himawari goes Berserk

Himawari woke up and the first thing she noticed was Jura on their tail. Jura created a biju bomb with his eyes destroying the wings of the super Beast scroll which aided them in escaping. Chocho helped with the landing. Himawari called for Kurama’s help but Kurama told Himawari to believe in herself. It turns out Himawari chakra has a higher affinity to Kurama’s than all predecessors including Naruto. Kurama can’t do anything because it’s Himawari’s choice. There was a fight between Team 10 and Jura. Jura easily put them down. Jura captured himawari and he was about to feast on her. Inojin tried stopping him but he got stabbed in the process. That’s when Himawari accessed her nine tails mode.

Closure

So this chapter confirmed a lot. After Kurama passed away, there was a debate online about whether he will come back. Turns out he did and it was because Biju’s do not perish. They always come back. Inojin might die next chapter but we will have to wait and see. Sarada will most likely fight Hidari next chapter and I’m so excited to see how it turns out.
