Seven is a skilled fighter and one of the strongest assassins in Scissor Seven. This isn’t only because of his skill but also the weapons he utilizes and how he uses them to his advantage. Seven has perfect control of the weapons in his possession. In the start of the show, Seven is seen controlling a Scissors. He can telekinetically control that scissors to perform feats only imaginable. Aside from the Scissors, another weapon part which was part of Sevens arsenal is his sword. Seven’s Sword isn’t any ordinary sword but it’s the Thousand Demon Daggers. This article will explain how Seven got the Thousand Demon Dagger sword, the swords powers and how it is utilized by Seven. This article might contain some spoiler’s because the information come from Seasons 1-4 of Scissor Seven.


How Seven Got the Thousand Demon Dagger


When Seven was only 15 years old, he became one of the Seven Great Shadow Killers. A prestigious rank in the Country of Xuanwu. The Seven Great Shadow killers were feared and also respected in the Country of Xuanwu. Seven was chosen because the master Blue Phoenix saw how skilled Seven was. The other six Shadow killers were surprised because Seven was just a child at the time. After the announcement, Redtooth (one of the seven Shadow killers) decided to attack Seven with Green Phoenix being the only audience watching from a distance. Seven faced off against Redtooth and even kept up with him but his sword was broken.

Green Phoenix stopped the fight telling Seven he could defeat Redtooth if he had a powerful Sword. That’s when Green Phoenix told Seven about the Thousand Demon Dagger which is most powerful sword.

Seven went of a quest to get the Sword. The Thousand Demon Dagger was a national treasure of Shenduan and it was guarded by the Millenium Dark spirit. At only 16 years old, Seven fought the Millenium Demon/ Millenium Dark Spirit and obtained the Thousand Demon Dagger, the most powerful sword in the Country of Xuanwu.


Thousand Demon Dagger Ability


The nature of the Thousand Demon Dagger was revealed. The Thousand Demon Dagger is a magical sword composed of a thousand razor-sharp fragments controlled telekinetically through Qi. Only a very skilled Qi user can manipulate each shard changing its form from offense to defense. Offensively, the length of the sword can be manipulated altering its size during a battle. Each Shard can be controlled as seen during Seven’s fight with Blackbird in Season 4 episode 1. Defensively, the shards of the Thousand Demon Dagger can be used as a barrier for protection which can be seen when Seven was going up against Eyeless Sorcerer in Season 3 episode 8.


Thousand Demon Dagger Limitation


The Thousand Demon Dagger has a limitation. This limitation doesn’t apply to Seven but it applies to other who want to wield the sword. The Thousand Demon Dagger doesn’t respond to everyone. If the sword doesn’t respond to a person, it basically becomes a broken sword since it’s a sword made up of a thousand shards. This can be seen when Thirteen used her Qi to try control the Sword but it didn’t respond to her in Season 2 episode 5 of the show.


Closure


The Thousand Demon Dagger is a very powerful weapon in Scissor Seven but it cannot be wielded if it doesn’t respond to the wielder making it useless. Despite Seven’s mastery of the sword, there’s still a lot to learn which will be revealed in upcoming seasons such as Season 5.
