CD Projekt Red is currently working on a Cyberpunk Live-Action project with AC Studios

CD Projekt red in a recent announcement revealed its working on a live-action project. CD Projekt Red is a video game development studio responsible for the popular Witcher Series and Cyberpunk 2077. This live-action project will take place in the world or verse of Cyberpunk 2077.

This information was revealed in CD Projekt red’s Press Center. CD Prjekt Red is currently working on this live-action project in collaboration with global media company “Anonymous Content” and its set in the world of the video game Cyberpunk 2077. Anonymous content has lots series and movies under its umbrella with some Academy Award-winning films such as The Revenant and Spotlight.

CD Projekt Red is working directly with Anonymous Content Studios’ Head of Television Garret Kemble, Director of Development Ryan Schwartz, and Chief Creative officer David Levine who was involved in True Detective, WestWorld, True Blood and the early Seasons of Game of Thrones.


The new project is in an early development phase and is currently searching for a screenwriter to tell a brand-new story set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. Aside from Garret Kemble, David Levine and Ryan Schwartz, others who will also be involved include Bard Dorros and Charlie Scully. They will produce on behalf of Anonymous Content. The members of AC studios will work in close collaboration with the Cyberpunk Creative Team to oversee this project.


Closure


This live-action isn’t the only project set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt red released Cyberpunk Edgerunners which is an anime series set in the same world and it was a major success. Developed in collaboration with Studio Trigger, it won several awards becoming Crunchyroll’s anime of the year. CD project Red released the Novel Cyberpunk 2077:NO_COINCIDENCE written by Rafal Kosik. Cyberpunk 2077 despite being a timed release is still prone to recent updates with the most recent being the Phantom Liberty expansion.
