Shadow Sonic Dream Team

Sonic Dream Team is a 3D platform game released in 2023 on IOS, iPadOS, MacOS and tvOS. The game features 6 playable characters who each possess their strengths and weaknesses. Shadow was the newest addition to the game roster but unlike the others, Shadow is a reward that has to be acquired before he can be used. This article is going to reveal how to unlock Shadow in Sonic Dream Team


Shadow


Sonic Dream Team players will need time and dedication to unlock shadow. This is because Shadow is the final reward in the game. After you get the latest sonic dream update, Shadow is given to players but they need a certain amount of XP points to unlock shadows.


How to unlock Shadow


Sonic Dream Team players need 3000xp points to unlock shadows. To do this, after opening the game (game home screen). You get three options. These options are Sweet Dreams, Adventure and Trails challenges. You pick the Trails challenges option were you will see several challenges. These challenges help player earn XP points. There are rewards after a certain threshold of XP is acquired. Shadow is the last reward with a total of 3000xp points. After acquiring that amount of XP points, players cannot unlock Shadow and use him in Adventure mode.

Tails challenges are like daily challenges. Players get three challenges per day and you complete these challenges for XP points and rewards. Once completed, you have to wait the next day to redo the next challenges. This is why I mentioned dedication and time needed to unlock shadows. XP points are also distributed based on ranked performances. Getting an S-rank in a challenge will increase your XP points for that challenge.

Challenges change from day-to-day. You might be asked to complete a level at a certain time period or destroy object or even collect objects. The game has a built-in XP tracker meaning players will be able to tell how much XP they have collected. XP points can also be used to unlock Dream powers and Music Tracks.


Closure


Shadow is a fan-favorite Sonic character so players would want to get their hands on him. As the newest character addition to the game, Shadows is not free like the other characters (Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, and Cream) but he is a reward gotten after playing lots of trail challenges. This makes him a unique character in the game and one that is loved by fans.
