Catherine chooses to marry Edgar Linton, a wealthy neighbor meanwhile Heathcliff disappears and later on returns as a wealthy man determined to seek revenge against those who betrayed him. His actions will affect not only the original characters but also people in the next generation which creates a cycle of pain and conflict. The story is told by two characters, Nely Dean and Lockwood, they share what they’ve seen on heard to readers.
