He made an on-screen appearance in The Tudors (2011) as a young noblemen. He played Feast Your Eyes in White Princess (2017) and he is also known for his role as Nikolai Lantsov in Shadow and Bone (2021). Patrick also plays Dexter Morgan in the Prequel series Dexter: Original Sin

2. Priyanga Burford plays M, the head of the M16 and James Bond Superior. M is responsible for assigning missions and overseeing intelligence operations. Other roles of Priyanga include Harriet Green in Channel 4’s UKIP: The First 100 days (2015) and Sara Dhadwal in Industry (HBO/BBC in 2020).

3. Alastair Mackenzie plays the role of Q in the upcoming James Bond game 007 First Light. Q is M16’s quartermaster. He provides James Bond with gadgets, weapons and technical support. Alastair Mackenzie is known for his role as Archie McDonald in BBC drama Monarch of the Glen (2000-2005). Alastair also played Guy Riverty in Deep Water(2019)

Miss Roth plays an important role in James Bond development in 007 First Light game. Noemie Nakai is a French-Japanese Actress and director popularly known for her role as Polina in Tokyo Vice. Why Was Patrick Gibson Chosen As James Bond?


Patrick Gibson was selected by IO Interactive not because of his fame but his ability to play the character of a young and evolving James Bond. The studio’s goal was not to look for someone who can play James Bond but someone whose character fits and they found that with Patrick Gibson. The Studio’s narrative director Martin Emborg revealed this information by precisely saying:

“The Way that works is less about looking for who becomes our Bond. Who can shoulder this young version of the character?”


About Patrick Gibson


Patrick Leo Kenny-Gibson is an Irish actor born on April 19, 1095 in Westminster London. Raised in Ireland, Patrick engaged in acting from a very young age debuting in a short film known as Bye Bye Inkhead released in 2002. He gained recognition with his roles in The Tudors and The Passing Bells before achieving widespread popularity when he portrayed Steve Winchell in Netfli’x sci-fi series The OA. Patrick Gibson has also starred in TV series such as Shadow and Bone (2023) and Before We Die (2021 - 2023). Patrick Gibson’s most popular role is that of a young Dexter Morgan in Showtime’s Dexter Original Sin which premiered in 2024. In September 2025, Patrick Gibson was cast as James Bond in the upcoming James Bond 007 First Light game making this new announcement an incredible milestone for the actor.
