Matsuri’s Desire and Weakness revealed Boruto: Two Blue Vortex

Konohamaru

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 20 is titled “Because of love”. The main emphasis on chapter 19 was the conflict between Matsuri/Ryu against Konohamaru, Sarada, Mitsuki, Araya and Yodo. Matsuri was about to devour Konohamaru meanwhile Sarada, Mitsuki, Araya and Yoda faced off against Ryu. This chapter adds more detail to the existing battle already taking place. Matsuri’s weakness


This chapter begins with the conflict between Konohamaru and Matsuri. Matsuri is upset because Konohamaru didn’t want to refer to her as “Matsuri-chan” as opposed to Moegi. Matsuri was simply jealous and upset. Konohamaru recalled Shikamaru’s advice to befriend the claw Grimes, win them over, take them because they are still innocent “cublings” and later betray them. Konohamaru told Matsuri to not kill him so they can talk but she refused because Matsuri believes Konohamaru is a danger to her emotions and sanity. Something happened to Matsuri when she was trying to consume Konohamaru. Matsuri shed tears. She didn’t understand the emotion so Konohamaru explained it to her. Konohamaru was convinced she didn’t want to kill him. Konohamaru told Matsuri to do him a favor and squeeze his hands so they form a special relationship. Matsuri stopped consuming him and held Konohamaru’s hands. It that moment, Konohamru used a Rasengan to destroy Matsuri. Unfortunately, he couldn’t completely destroy her because her tears made him emotion. This was a mistake because Matsuri attacked Konohamaru in full force.


Ryu


Mitsuki, Yodo, Sarada and Araya went off against Ryu. Although Mitsuki and Araya were both strong, Ryu was still more powerful. After a decisive battle, Ryu managed to trap both Mitsuki and Ryu but putting Iron Sand on the body and threatening to instantly kill them. The Iron sand was also used to hold both of them in one place. Araya told Yodo and Sarada to escape but Ryu promised he won’t let that happen. Ryu didn’t see any need to kill Mitsuki and Araya. He simply asked the others were to find Boruto, his accomplice, weakness and any other valuable Intel. Yodo urged Sarada to speak but Sarada refused to betray her comrades. Sarada also refused Yodo because she has no idea where Borito is.


Yodo's deal


Yodo decided to make a deal with Ryu. She promised to go with Ryu, cooperating with him and use her detecting abilities to gather Intel if Ryu decides to let Araya, Mitsuki and Sarada go. Ryu rejected the offer stabbing Yodo. A weak and injured Yodo spoke to Sarada asking her why she’s holding back. Yodo told Sarada its okay if she uses it her power for things other than just the greater good which is to protect that special person in her life.


Sarada's Mangekyo Sharingan


This chapter concluded with Sarada activating and using her Mangekyo Sharingan. The Iron sand is said to have been absorbed in one spot. It is uncertain to say what Sarada’s Mangekyo Sharingan’s ability will be but there’s a lot of excitement about the possibilities. This is the second time Sarada has awakened her Mangekyo Sharingan in the Boruto manga and fans will most likely see her powers in action next chapter.


Closure


It is uncertain how powerful Sarada is at the moment. Yodo spoke about Sarada holding back so it is very possible she has used the abilities of the Mangekyo Sharingan in that past although it is too early to tell.
