In this game, players play as Scouts and have to climb mountain in teams or solo maintaining their stamina while overcoming challenges on the way to the top. One question that has fans puzzled is how many players are in PEAK game. How many players in PEAK game


PEAK is primarily a multiplayer game. The game is a cooperative climbing game that supports up to four players. Each player controls a “Scout” and all players have to work as a team to climb on a mountain. The game has objects such as Ropes and Pitons. The game supports Voice Proximity meaning distance affects how each player understands a Scout. Getting friends or teammates is what’s important in PEAK. Matches must be done with Steam friends because there’s no global matchmaking. This means players would need to invite their friends via Steam. Aside from Steam, another easy way to get friends that can join is through Discord. The game doesn’t support split-screen or local multiplayer support. Each player will need an internet connection alongside their PC to play but there won’t be regrets because of how engaging the game is.

The game also supports a solo or offline mode. As mentioned above, the game does support local multiplayer or split-screen meaning this mode can only be played alone. This mode can be good for practicing but the excitement and engagement won’t be present unlike multiplayer mode. Everything in this mode will be harder because the game was designed for a multiplayer experience when is why so many items and obstacles (such as Lava and Frost) were put in place.

This basically means since its release, the highest player count in a day is 135,536 player. The game has a 30-day average player of 46, 029. As for a monthly breakdown since its release, PEAK had an average of 41, 147 players in June (the game’s release), and a July average of 50, 107 and an August average of 58,965 players so far and growing. What this data from Steambase tells fans is that the game is not only doing well in sales but also in activity. All the above data taking into account PEAK doesn’t support global matchmaking so this huge player activity is just Steam friends enjoying PEAK.


Peak Future Updates


The game developers have made mention of multiplayer or co-op changes could be considered in future updates if the demand from fans grow. This just confirms that there is going to be an expansion but it is hard to predict when that will happen. The game is currently only exclusive on Steam so lots of PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo players might miss out of a lot.
