High Noon in last War: Survival is a unique mode where you have to defeat enemies using limited bullets and ricochet shots. I have written about stage 25 and stage 130 before but High Noon Stage 198 is also an extremely difficult stage. Stage 198 is considered by many to be complex because of the enemy’s position and strict bounce angles. Lots of players fail because they shoot quickly, waste bullets on direct attacks and aim at the wrong position. The good news in this is that the stage becomes much easier when you understand the ricochet setup and position where the bullets should bounce. This article is going to reveal how to beat High Noon stage 198 in Last War Survival with emphasis on strategy, Brick alignment references, mistakes and some tips to clear this stage.
High Noon 198 in Last War: Survival is difficult because the enemies are separated vertically which makes most shots feel useless. The lower enemy is positioned under a protected platform which forces players to rely on a tricky ricochet mechanics. The brick layout in this stage is also odd as it creates an awkward bounce angle meaning that even small aiming mistakes can change how fast the bullets travel. Most players fail because they rush their attack and they try to shoot directly. Wasting bullets in different angles is another reason.
The lower enemy is the bigger problem because the platform blocks direct attacks. This stage is about how you understand the bounce geometry and also wall positioning. These factors matter in all stages but it’s different in each. Some stages are easy or less complex than others.
The first step is to eliminate the Lower enemy first. To kill this enemy, first aim toward the side wall(above you) instead of directly at the enemy. You can use the third or fourth visible brick seam as your reference point. For aiming, you should place your aiming line slightly above the edge of the lower platform (up an angle as you can see from the pic). This way the bullet should bounce off the wall, travel under the platform and hit the enemy from below.
Try not to aim too high because if that’s the case, the bullet will bounce over the enemy instead of under the platform. Small adjustments also matter a lot in this stage and you can see that with YouTuber’s who already know the secret. They still have multiple retries because of small movement changes and tiny changes in positioning. The lower enemy is the hardest in this stage so defeating the lower enemy makes things easier.
After defeating the lower enemy, players should continue using the same wall area for ricochet shows but you just need to adjust the angle a little upwards. The upper enemy requires a cleaner and more direct bounce. You just need to raise the angle slightly while still using the same brick seam reference.
The first mistake most people make with High Noon 198 is that many people try direct shots. Honestly speaking, direct shots usually waste bullets and you should know this because wall bouncing is used in almost all stages of High Noon. Another mistake is over adjusting the shot position after you miss a shot. It’s better to do tiny angle adjustments so you see which position is the best.
Stages in High Noon use a similar ricochet patterns but its stages that are close. For instance stage 30-35 can reuse similar ricochet patterns. This means learning about Stage 198 can help you get through stage 199 and 200. Secondly, you can memorize brick patterns in the game and wall angles incase you are stuck in a difficult stage. This helps you clear these stages easily. Another tip is that you should look for a good bounce path before shooting an enemy but I think everyone should be doing this by now.
High Noon 198 in Last War: Survival is easy when players understand the double ricochet setup and proper aiming. To beat this stage, you should first beat the lower enemy first using wall bounces and then slightly adjust the angle upward for the second target. What you learn in this stage can be helpful in future stages.
