village, terrain armies and join clans to battle other players and earn resources. Clash of Clan players may lose access to the game if they switch devices, uninstall the game, or lose access to their original account login. This makes lots of players wonder how they can recover their Clash of Clans account safely without any issues. Luckily, there are several ways in which players can recover their Clash of Clans account. These methods include Supercell ID (the most reliable), Google Play, Game Center, Facebook, and contacting Supercell support. This article is going to reveal how to recover Clash of Clans Account.
How to Recover Clash of Clans Account with Supercell ID
A Supercell ID is a free account system from Supercell that allows players to link their villages to an email. This is one of the most reliable methods of recovering Clash of Clans Account as it works on iOS and Android, letting you recover your village even when switching devices. Using Supercell ID to recover your Clash of Clan Account is good because it works across devices and platforms, and it eliminates the need for Game Center, Google Play, or Facebook Logins
In order to recover Clash of Clans Account with Supercell ID, first open clash of clans of your device. Go to Settings -> Supercell ID -> Log In. Enter the email linked to your Supercell ID. A verification code will be sent to that email so check your email for the verification code and enter it in the game. Your Clash of Clans village will load after successful verification. If you forgot your Supercell ID email, the tap Forget Email in the login screen and follow the steps.
How to Recover Clash of Clans Account with Google Play/Gmail (Android Devices)
For Android players, Clash of Clans account can be linked to Google Play (Gmail) account making recovery straightforward if that login was connected. This is because when you link your Clash of Clans village to Google Play, the game saves your progress to your goggle account allowing you to restore it when you sign in on another Android device. This method only works on Android and you must use the original Google account that was linked to the village.
To recover your Clash of Clans via Google Play or Gmail, go to Settings -> Accounts on your Android device and make sure you’re logged into the same Google (Gmail) account you originally used. Open Clash of Clans then Tap Settings -> Google Play Sign in. You can even choose the correct Gmail account if prompted to do so and follow the on-screen prompts to proceed. You Clash of Clans village should load once your Gmail has been authenticated.
How to Recover Clash of Clans Account with Game Center (iOS Devices)
For Players on Apple Devices, Game Center is a way to recover an old Clash of Clan account but only if the village was previously linked to the Game Center. Game Center is Apples account service that Clash of Clans can use to recognize your village data.
To recover your Clash of Clans account via Game Center, first Go to Settings -> Game Center on your iPhone or iPad. Log in with the original Apple ID/Game Center account that was used when your village was active. You can open Clash of Clans once you’ve signed in as the game will automatically detect your village and prompt you to load to it.
I want to also point out that this method only works on iOS devices. It won’t also work if your village was linked to a Supercell ID first. If your account was linked to a Supercell ID first, then use the Supercell method. Always make sure to re-sign into your correct Game Center account before opening the game (in the scenario where you have multiple Apple IDs/Game Center Accounts).
Can You Recover Clash of Clans with Facebook?
Clash of Clans used to allow players to link their villages to Facebook but Supercell has officially discontinued Facebook login and recovery support. This means you can no longer recover account y logging into Facebook even if it was linked years ago. If your village was once connected to Facebook, it must now be recovered using Supercell ID or in-game support. Facebook alone unfortunately won’t be able to restore your Clash of Clan account or progress.
Contacting Supercell for Unlinking Accounts
If your Clash of Clans account is not linked to Supercell ID, Google Play, or Game Center, the only remaining option is Supercell Support. To contact Supercell Support, open Clash of Clans the go to Settings -> Help and Support. Choose Account -> Lost Account and submit accurate detailed asked of you. These details usually include Player name and Town Hall level, clan name (if you have), approximate XP level, Device type (Android or iOS), and date of last access. Supercell will verify ownership before restoring access.
Tips to Prevent Losing your Clash of Clans Account again
To avoid future Clash of Clans account loss, always link your village to a Supercell ID. You can also use Google Play or Game Center as backup links. You should also avoid sharing login codes or account details because it can be used to hack your account.
Closure
Recovering a Clash of Clans account is easiest with Supercell ID, followed by Google play on Android or Game Center on iOS. Facebook recovery on the other hand is no longer supported. Even if you lost your account that wasn’t linked, Supercell Support can still help you get the account back after completing the proper verification.
