Fishing in Kingshot is a recurring tournament event that shows up every four weeks, offering players rewards, upgrade points and leaderboard status. To Fish, you drag to cast your line and try to reach the maximum depth without hitting too many obstacles. You get attempts to do this every three hours. Completing fishing mission in Kingshot is important because it earns you points used to upgrade gear like line, hook, and bait. Each upgrade will help you catch more valuable fish and improve your overall event rank.


How to Fish in Kingshot


To fish in Kingshot, drag to cast your line, avoid obstacles while your line is descending, and catch fish to earn points. You can upgrade your hook, bait, and line for better rewards.


How the Fishing Event Works in Kingshot


The Kingshot fishing event is a recurring in-game tournament that usually refreshes every few weeks. Each participant receives a limited number of fishing attempts during this event (usually every 3 hours) which reset over time.

During this event, players drag to cast downward, steering the hook to reach maximum depth without colliding with obstacles. When it stops or reaches its limits, the hook returns with whatever was caught

Every fish or item that pulled from the hook grants points. These points contribute to your score tally which affects your ranking. These points can also be used to upgrade fishing gear such as the line, hook and bait. I made mention of ranking because the points you acquire during this in-game event determine your leaderboard rank and associated rewards.

Guide on How to Fish in Kingshot


The First step is to enter the Fishing event. This can be done by tapping the Fishing/Tournament icon from the main event menu to access the fishing screen. You then open the in-game map and look for water/fishing symbols. Travel your character to one of these water zones. Once you’re near the area, the “Start Fishing” button will appear and you click it.

Once in the game, you begin your cast. Drag your finger downward from the surface to cast the hook into the water. Your goal should be to push it as deep as possible without hitting too many obstacles. As the hook goes downward, try to avoid barricades or hazards. If the hook strikes so many, the descent ends prematurely. Once it reaches its maximum depth or it stops, the hook will start rising.

When the hook returns to the surface, you’ll see that it collected any fish, treasure or items it intersects. The deeper the depth, the rarer the fish and more points will be given. It’s important to also note that you get new fishing attempts every 3 hours so do not waste them.

After each fish try, you can open the rewards screen and collect the fish, points and bonus drops. Those points can be used to upgrade fishing gear and also boost your rank. Upgrading your fishing gear means enhancing your line, hook capacity, and bait so attempts after that reach a deeper point to get rarer fish for better rewards. Some events grant access to zones like “Frost Prospect” or “Sunken Treasure” where fishing is bypassed from equipment limits. In this situation, try using scanners, stabilizers, or lanterns.


Fishing Gear and Upgrades in Kingshot.


I have already mentioned this above but I want to talk on it more so you have a better understanding of the uses of fishing gear in Kingshot. The three primary gear components that determine your success is: line, hook, and bait. Upgrading the line increases the maximum depth you can reach and this is essential deeper catches get you more points. Upgrading the hook expands your capacity (how many fish/items you can catch per attempt). Finally, upgrading the Bait affects the types and rarity of fish you attract.

Gear in Kingshot can be upgraded by using event points earned from fishing attempts and the typical gear levels cap (max upgrade level in the game) at Level 10. Gear Levels are very important in Kingshot. For instance Level 1 line might allow a depth of 200m, but Level 10 might reach 550m even in special zones. When upgrading, first prioritize line, the hook capacity, and finally bait to get the best results. Special items such as Lantern, Ocean Scanner, and Reel Stabilizer can be sued to boost performance when attempting to fish.


Event Timing, Modes & Rewards


The Fishing Event in Kingshot refreshes regularly every few weeks and player receive new fishing attempts every 3 hours. You’ll encounter special modes like “Frost Prospect” which allows deeper catches with gear temporarily maxed and Sunken Treasure Hunt. Each fish or item pulled earns points which are spent or used on gear upgrades and leaderboard ranking. The top players in the leaderboard ranking receive exclusive prices that include rare gear, cosmetic skins and even high-tier consumables.


Tips and Strategies to Maximize Points


To maximize points in Kingshot’s Fishing Event, always use upgraded gear and bait matched to the fish rarity. This is because higher-tier bait attracts rarer and more valuable catches. Try to hit the reel zone perfectly to increase combo multipliers. You can also try participating during active hours or double-point events for bonus rewards. Also keep your fishing gear balanced rather than maxing just one stat and redeem points immediately to prevent cap loss when new rounds or reward resets begin.


Common Fishing Event Mistakes Kingshot Players Make


Many players waste bait by casting too early or ignoring ripple strength, reducing catch quality. Many players also forget to upgrade fishing gear (line, hook, bait) and this is not good especially if your aim is to rank high in the leaderboard. Finally, missing timing cues during reeling often costs high-value catches or even combo bonuses.
