This article is going to reveal the fastest way to cancel your Fortnite crew subscription on PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC (Epic) and on Mobile. I will also highlight on what to check before you cancel your Fortnite crew subscription. This will include Billing source, refund rules, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
What is Fortnite Crew
Fortnite Crew is a monthly subscription that bundles the seasons Battle Pass, a monthly Crew Pack outfit, and 1,000 V-bucks each month while you remain subscribed. The Fortnite Crew Subscription costs about $11.99 per month and billing is handled by the store you used be it on Epic, Microsoft, Nintendo, Apple or Google. Cancellation must also be done through the provider you used to subscribe to Fortnite Crew in the first place. As of November 18, 2025, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate also includes Fortnite Crew benefits for subscribers.
What You Need to Know Before You Cancel Your Fortnite Crew Subscription
Before canceling your Fortnite Crew subscription, it’s important that you understand what happens next. Canceling your Fortnite Crew subscription only stops future auto-renewals meaning that you’ll receive all Crew benefits until your current billing period ends. Refund depends entirely on the store you subscribed through. Also, after Cancellation, you can keep the V-Bucks and Crew Pack you already received but you may lose the ongoing Battle Pass progression if the pass was included from the Crew subscription. If you play Fortnite across multiple platforms, it’s always good to confirm which platform is billing you before cancelling.
How to Cancel Fortnite Crew on PC (Epic Games)
Canceling your Fortnite Crew Subscription through Epic Games only works if you originally subscribed using Epic’s billing system. If you subscribed to Fortnite Crew through your in-game mobile store or a console store, the Crew subscription will not appear in Epics panel
Using the Web Browser
In this case, open the Official Epic Subscription Page (epicgames.com/account/subscriptions) and sign into the Epic account linked to your Fortnite Profile. Find Fortnite Crew under “Active Subscriptions”. Select Manage -> Cancel Subscription then confirm the cancellation and check your email for a confirmation message.
Using the Epic Games Launcher
Open Epic Games Launcher and click your profile icon. Go to Account -> Settings and then Select Fortnite Crew -> Cancel Subscription.
How to Cancel Fortnite Crew on PlayStation (PS4 and PS5)
If you subscribed to Fortnite Crew on PS4 or PS5, all billing will go through the PlayStation Store so you must cancel it through Sony subscription settings. You should always take a screenshot as proof in case of billing disputes.
On PS5
Go to settings and choose the Users and Accounts option. Select Payment and Subscriptions -> Subscriptions. Find Fortnite Crew and turn off Auto-renew. After that you confirm the cancellation
On PS4
Go to Setting -> Account Management. Choose Account Information option and go to Subscription. Select Fortnite Crew and turn off auto-renew.
If you can’t easily find subscriptions using the above methods, you can go to the PlayStation Store -> Profile icon -> Subscriptions to cancel your Fortnite Crew subscription.
How to Cancel Fortnite Crew Subscription on Xbox (Xbox One/Series X/S)
If you subscribed to Fortnite Crew on an Xbox console, all payments are handled through your Microsoft account. You can cancel the Fortnite Crew subscription online or on the Xbox Console.
To Cancel Fortnite Crew on Xbox Online
Visit account.microsoft.com/services and sign in. Scroll to Fortnite Crew under your Active Services. Select Manage -> Turn off recurring billing (or Cancel Subscription if available). Confirm the change
On the Xbox Console
Go to Profile & System -> Settings -> Account -> Subscriptions & Billing -> Subscriptions -> Fortnite Crew -> Manage.
Some Fortnite Crew benefits have been integrated into the Xbox Game Pass so players who link their Epic Account may already receive certain perks through Game Pass so you should always check which service is billing you before canceling.
How to Cancel Fortnite Crew Subscription on Nintendo Switch
Nintendo handles Fortnite Crew billing through the Nintendo eshop so you must cancel it from your Nintendo account and not the Fortnite game itself
On Nintendo Switch
Press Home and open Nintendo eShop. Select your Profile Icon (it’s on the top-right) and choose “Your Subscriptions”. Find Fortnite Crew and select Turn off Auto Renewal
On a Web Browser
Go to ec.nintendo.com/my/rights and log in. Open Manage Subscriptions, Choose Fortnite Crew and disable auto-renew.
How to Cancel Fortnite Crew on Mobile (Google Play, Samsung Galaxy Store, App Store)
Android (Google Play)
First Open Google play Store then go to Profile Icon -> Payments & Subscriptions -> Subscriptions. Select Fortnite Crew then Cancel it
Samsung Galaxy Store
Open the Galaxy Store then tap Menu -> Subscription. Choose Fortnite Crew and cancel it
IPhone/iPad (App Store)
Apple no longer supports new Fortnite crew subscriptions due to the Epic/Apple dispute but older active subscriptions can still appear. To cancel Fortnite Crew if it coincidentally shows up, go to Settings -> Apple ID -> Subscriptions -> Fortnite Crew then you cancel it.
What Happens After You Cancel Fortnite Crew
Cancelling Fortnite Crew immediately stops future recurring billing but you keep all the current benefits (for the month) until your subscription cycle ends. This includes the Crew Pack 1,000 V-Bucks and full Battle Pass Access. You don’t also lose rewards already unlocked. However, you will not receive the next month’s Crew Pack or V-Bucks, and rejoining later gives a different monthly cosmetic set. Refunds depend on the platforms store policy
