Identity of the Chaos Dragon is a new raid challenge in Cookie Run: Kingdom. This challenge puts crk (Cookie Run: Kingdom) players against a super powerful Chaos Dragon and if you win, you get rewards and your rankings will improve. There are crk players who enter this challenge with their most powerful PvE teams but they still lose because their team’s damage is reduced. This situation is pretty common and this is because the Chaos Dragon raid uses a very unique (interesting) mechanic that favors team diversity rather than just teams that over emphasize on damage. It’s good that you understand how Identity of the Chaos Dragons works so you can have a chance on winning. This article is going to reveal the best team and strategies to win Identity of the Chaos Dragon in crk.

How Identity of the Chaos Dragon Works in Cookie Run: Kingdom

Identity of the Chaos Dragon is very different from other game modes in Cookie Run: Kingdom. This mode features a raid boss that has special damage rules. When I say special damage rules, I mean that the Chaos Dragon reduces the effectiveness of direct Cookie attacks so many popular damage dealers become useless (or less useful) when compared to other stages. On the other hand, units that are summoned have a damage advantage. This means that Cookies capable of creating and supporting summons can outperform some of the most powerful DPS Cookies in the game. Players who also rely on Arena teams will struggle to deal any meaningful damage. This is why I said this challenge is very unique and interesting. It’s not all damage, its smarts. You will win if you can adapt to the mechanics of this challenge but it’s hard for some people who would usually over rely damage output.

Strong Team for Beating Chaos Dragon

A good strategy players can use for Identity of the Chaos Dragon in crk is using a team with summoning specialty. This means a good summon lineup in crk includes the Nutmeg Tiger Cookie, the Salt Cellar Cookie, Licorice Cookie, Macaron Cookie and the Croissant Cookie. This lineup is a recommended team because almost all members can either create summons or boost themselves (their effectiveness in battle). The Nutmeg Tiger Cookie can be a really good damage dealer because her summons are really effective. They could deal a lot of damage and this would help you. The Licorice Cookie can provide additional summon units which will help you maintain pressure in the fight. The Salt Cellar Cookie can provide support when it comes to damage meanwhile the Macaron and Croissant Cookie can provide buffs that help summons perform better. With this team, you don’t need to rely on direct attacks to win. You can just let your summons do the work.

You should also include some toppings for each of these Cookies. For the Nutmeg Tiger Cookie, the Salt Cellar Cookie and the Licorice Cookie, you can add the Full Searing Raspberry topping. As for the Macaron Cookie and Croissant Cookie, the Full Swift Chocolate topping should be good. If you want to use Treasures for this team, I suggest the Dream Conductor’s Whistle, the Old Pilgrims Scroll and the Blueberry Pie Berry Necklace. All these suggestion should be good but you can still test the waters because you know your capabilities better than I do.

Strategy For Getting a Higher Score

This section won’t talk about something you don’t know but it will remind of some important details you are aware. One of the biggest mistakes people make is activating summon skills immediately they become available and even though this might feel right, recasting some summon skills can replace existing summons before they finish their duration. This means you should try your best to maintain your summon so they remain active and deal damage for their full duration without interruption. This gives you better scores in the raid because you get to give consistent damage.

If you want a higher score when activating summons, you should also activate support buffs but please do this when there are multiple summons in the field. If lots of summons are in the battlefield, this means all of them get to benefit from an increased attack power or other bonuses

Rewards and Chaos Gems

If you beat Identity of the Chaos Dragon in crk, you will get a reward based on your performance. A higher damage during this event means you get a better ranking when compared to other people. Aside from ranking, players can also earn Chaos gems and other materials used for progression. Rewards very because there are some rewards that are influenced by your hit count and activity rather than damage alone.

Players who understand the mechanics of Identity of the Chaos Dragon in Cookie Run: Kingdom will have an edge over those who don’t understand its mechanics. This raid favors summoned units so a team that can summon that includes Cookies like Nutmeg Tiger and Licorice is advantageous. If you can find a way to maintain the summon uptime, boost their damage or even add buffs then you can actually beat Chaos dragon. It won’t be easy but you should try. It’s also good that you test out different combinations because you know yourself more than I do so you should know what works and what doesn’t.
