Boruto Two Blue Vortex Reveals How the Thorn Soul Bulb Kills

Thorn Soul Bulb Boruto

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 has been released and the chapter was a very good aftermath to an amazing battle. Boruto and the others went up against Mamushi in the previous chapter and he was defeated even though his powers were problematic. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 is titled ‘Used to It” and the emphasis on this chapter was on Codes plans. Another important reveal was how Bug died in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. What Happens When the Thorn Soul Bulb Rots


Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 opens with Boruto having Bug’s Thorn Soul Bulb. He acquired it after defeating Mamushi but it was revealed in this chapter that it’s rotting away. In the past, it was revealed that after defeating a humanoid ten tails, the Thorn Soul Bulb would be used to revive the person who has been trapped by the define tree or I can be used to revive another humanoid divine tree. This chapter added more context as it was revealed that the Thorn Soul Bulb is rotting away when exposed and it takes a few minutes and if it rots away completely, the person who became a tree will die.


Inojin is Fine


Inojin woke up and his eyes looked fine which means Himawari’s healing abilities are no joke. Everyone was happy. The only person who was really injured was Sarada and Konohamaru rushed her to the Hospital alongside ChoCho (who acted as Sarada’s support). Eida and Daemon were also perfectly fine and it was because of Daemons reflection ability. However, it’s important not to forget that Inojin was the MVP of the Mamushi fight. Kawaki also went to speak with Amado on thing we won’t know until the next chapter.


Code and the Future


Koji gave Boruto information about Code. Koji was surprised Code didn’t show up because he though Code would take advantage of the chaos. Code didn’t intervene in the battle but the Divine Trees all have claw marks on them so Code is still there and he is waiting. Koji also tells Boruto that Code should be aware of Mamuhsi death because Code is still waiting. Koji confirmed that Code will attack Boruto once Boruto tries to use the Thorn Soul Bulb to revive Bug. This is because that location is strategic and no one would be able to interfere in the battle.

As for the upcoming battle between Boruto and Code, Koji predicted three different outcomes. The first outcome is that Boruto kills him during the fight, the second outcome is that code runs off after realizing he has little chance of winning against Boruto and goes after Sarada. He will take Sarada to the Humanoid Devine Trees as a bargaining chip knowing that she could be used as bait to lure Boruto. The third outcome is completely different from the first two outcomes and Koji said Code might permanently cut ties with the other Divine Trees and join Boruto and Konoha. Koji make mention of how the first outcome about Codes death should be a good possibility and he also said the likelihood of the third outcome is “nil”.


Sarada and Sakura


There was an interaction in the hospital between Sarada, Sakura and ChoCho. Sarada eventually woke up under Sakura’s care and it was revealed that her prescription glasses no longer works because Sarada’s vision was deteriorating. Sakura informed her that it was because of the Mangekyo Sharingan and if Sarada keeps using it, she would eventually become blind. Sakura was very understanding and she was aware she couldn’t blame Sarada or stop her from doing what she wants as long as it’s her resolve. Sakura knows Sarada is doing all this because she wants to protect Boruto. Sakura left the room emphasizing on how she always believed in Sarada and Sasuke. ChoCho on the other hand was confused because she was wondering why Sarada was so worried about someone who betrayed the village. However, ChoCho recognized that Boruto fought for Konoha with a passion.


Code Faces Boruto


Boruto teleported to Bug’s Devine Tree to use the Thorn Soul Bulb and revive Bug. Code attacked Boruto as Koji predicted but Boruto was able to stop the attack because he anticipated the ambush. Boruto challenged Code to attack him, asking him what his grand plan was and how he plans on killing Boruto. Code just ran off after Boruto asked those questions. The Thorn Soul Bulb fully rotted and Bug died. Koji told Boruto not to over worry because Bug wasn’t a good guy. He also told Boruto to always recall “what it looks like when a soul Burns out”.


Closure


Boruto came face-to-face with Code but he didn’t kill him so according to Koji’s prediction, Code is either going to use Sarada to bait Boruto or Code might pull a 180 and join Boruto and Konoha. Now the factors that will decide those possibilities will most likely depend on how the other Humanoid Divines Trees respond to Code getting Sarada or if Code’s relationship with the other Humanoid Divine Trees (Hidari and Jura) would be strained. Anyways, it will be very interesting to see.
