KvK in Kingshot is short for Kingdom of Power, also referred to as Kingdom vs. Kingdom. KvK is a cross kingdom flagship event in Kingshot where Rival Kingdoms clash for prestige, rare rewards, and the title of High King. It’s the games PvP cycle so knowing when its starts and how its phases work is essential for any serious governor who wants to prepare and win. This article is going to reveal details about what KvK is in Kingshot and when its starts.


What is KvK (Kingdom of Power) in Kingshot


Kingdom of Power is a multiple phase alliance level showdown in Kingshot that matches your Kingdom against another with similar power and age. KvK in Kingshot runs in four main phases and these include The Matchmaking Phase(game pairs kingdoms), the Preparation Phase(building assignments and resources), the Battle Phase(the core PvP where Kingdoms fight over key structures and points), and the Field Triage or Recovery Phase(after the battle). Winning KvK in Kingshot yields major rewards such as Kingdom coins, Skins, ranking prizes and server prestige. KvK eligibility in Kingshot usually requires a mature Kingdom (roughly 70 to 80 days old) and KvK cycles on a monthly schedule so planning ahead is usually important.


Who is Eligible and How Often KvK Runs


Your Kingshot Kingdom becomes eligible for KvK matchmaking when it is around 70 to 80 days old. Once you become eligible, your Kingdom will enter the games event regular cycle. KvK happens every 4 weeks (once per month) so when you Kingdom meets the age requirements, you should check the game on weekends because Kingshot KvK matchmaking usually starts on Saturday. The Weekend is the best chance for Kingshot players to start the next KvK round.


When Does KvK Start in Kingshot (KvK Timing and Phases)


Kvk in Kingshot begins with the matchmaking phase which lasts for 2 days. During this phase, Kingshot system pairs Kingdoms by power levels. The next phase after this is the Preparation Phase which runs for 5 days and 10 hours. During the Preparation phase, Kingdoms complete various tasks to earn points. The climax of KvK is the Battle phase which is a 12 hour window from 10:00 UTC to 22:00 UTC on Saturday. At 10:00 UTC, both sides unlock the cross-kingdom teleportation. After the battle phase is the Field Triage Phase where Kingdoms can recover lost troops. If you’re a busy Kingshot player who is eligible for KvK, stay alert on Saturday at 10:00 UTC and use the days before to prepare resources and coordinate your alliance.

You might be confused because I said KvK matchmaking in Kingshot usually begins on Saturday and the Battle Phase is on Saturday. You should imagine Kvk as an event that lasts for a week and happens once every month. Saturday 1 is matchmaking and it can last for 2 days, you have the Preparation phase for 5 days (which is the week Mon-Fri) then Saturday 2(the following Saturday) is the KvK Battle Phase



How to Prepare for KvK in Kingshot


In order to prepare for Kvk in Kingshot, first save key resources you might need such as teleports, speedups, healing items and rare materials such as Truegold and ForgeHammers. Secondly, you should coordinate your alliance very well by assigning building upgrades, tech research and troop training so you don’t waste tasks. Make sure top members in your Kingdom keep their gear because matchmaking is based on the top 100 player’s troop power. This means Unequipping you gear will weaken the Kingdoms match strength. Finally, you should stockpile Kingdom Coins, gems and resources because it helps you purchase Kingdom shop rewards and also recover after battle loses especially in case of defeat


Kingshot KvK Rewards and Stakes


A victory in KvK Kingshot awards you with rewards such as Kingdom coins, Diamonds (gems), exclusive skins, hero shards and top ranking loot for both individuals and alliances. The winning Kingdoms alliance also gets the right to appoint the High King which gives exclusive perks and prestige. Runner up Kingdoms also receive consolation reward although it’s less. It can be fewer coins, or even diamonds but it can still be put to use.

Even though there are a lot of events in Kingshot, KvK is one of the biggest monthly events in the game. Your Kingdom needs to be at least 70 days old before you’re eligible to participate in this event. There are also four main phases during this event and it includes matchmaking, Preparation, Battle Phase and Field Triage Stage. The event is greatly beneficial so you should plan well, save your resources, and coordinate your alliance in order to maximize rewards during this event and climb the ranks.
