Pets becomes available starting around Day 55 – 60 of the server and it’s often introduced through the Beast Whisperer event which teaches players how to obtain and level them up. Each Pet in Kingshot offers primary buffs to your troops attack and defense. Pets also have unique skills that activate once the pet reaches milestones levels making it very important. With so many pets unlocking over time and each of them having different strengths/abilities, lots of Kingshot players ask themselves which pet should be upgraded. The Pet System in Kingshot


The pet system in Kingshot becomes available once players reach a certain point in the game progression (after about 55 days of server time when Generation 1 pets unlock). Kingshot Pets provide two primary buffs which include Squad Attack and Squad Defense which usually improves as the pet levels up. Once a Pet reaches Level 10, it also gains a unique skill and this varies depending on the Pet. For instance the Gray Wolf boosts construction speed, the Cheetah generates pet food, and the Bison improves resource gathering. Pets also get a secondary buff at Level 10 that improve troop health and lethality through refinement process.

Pets in Kingshot must be leveled with Pet Food, and after every 10 levels, they must be advanced using Growth manuals. At higher tiers, Nutrient Potions and Promotion Medallions should be used to continue progressing.


Kingshot Pet Generations and Unlock Timeline


In Kingshot, pets are grouped into generations that unlock as your server matures. Generation unlock are tied to server age and newer generations become available later in the game. Generation 1 pets are the earliest and they usually unlock when your Kingdom reaches about 55 – 60 days old. These pets include Gray Wolf, Lynx, and Bison.

Generation 2 pets typically unlock around 80 days. Generation 2 pets in Kingshot include Cheetah and Moose. As the server continues to age, Generation 3 pets like Lion and Grizzly Bear become available and generation unlocks at around 110 days. Generation 4 pets unlock at around 190+ days and they include Giant Rhino and Mighty Bison.

All these pets mentioned above possess unique skills that Kingshot players will most definitely find intriguing although some are much more valuable than others.

Pets in this game are leveled using Pet Food, and after every 10 levels, they must be “advanced” before they can continue leveling. Advancement requires materials such as Growth manuals, and at high stages, Nutrient Potions and Promotion Medallions.

A pets unique skill unlocks at Level 10 and improves as the pet reaches higher milestone levels Pets also unlock secondary refinement bonuses using taming marks which increase troop health and lethality. Resources are limited in the game hence, you should upgrade pets that match your current goals.
