Boruto Reveals How Lord Kobu and Elites Plan on Destroying the Shinobi World

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 38 is out and this chapter gave us a lot of information. Code kidnapped Sarada in the last chapter and this one also emphasized on that. However, something very interesting came up in this chapter. It was about how Lord Kobu plans on taking over Konoha and the Shinobi World. Koji used his Prescience ability to tell Shikamaru what might happen in the future. However, Koji wasn’t direct because he didn’t want the future to change drastically. Kawaki Speaks to Naruto and Hinata


Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 38 starts off with Kawaki talking to a frozen Naruto and Hinata in the dimension where they were sent. I don’t know if Naruto and Hinata could hear Kawaki because it wasn’t explained in the past. Maybe it will be explained in the future. Kawaki spoke about how he’s going to release Naruto and Hinata once he’s destroyed the things that threaten their existence i.e. the Otsutsuki. Kawaki plans on killing all Otsutsuki before releasing Naruto and Hinata. He also revealed that he will kill himself. Kawaki also promised to protect Himawari since she’s going to be the only child.


Lord Kobu’s Plans


Koji revealed something very important in this chapter. Koji told Shikamaru that Lord Kobu plans on taking over The Land of Fire. His isn’t just a Konoha issue. It was revealed that every nation in the World plans on cutting funds that are meant for Shinobi villages and redirect those funds elsewhere. Lord Kobu is just there as part of the process. Lord kobu was investigating Shikamaru and during the investigation, he found proof that it was Shikamaru who helped Boruto escape. There’s this notebook and there’s a piece of a page that was torn from that book. Shikamaru wrote down the password of Boruto’s handcuffs and gave it to Mitsuki to help Boruto escape.

Koji even spoke about how everything would’ve been better if he killed Lord Kobu when he had the chance. This chapter didn’t reveal where the funds for Shinobi want to be redirected to but if this is the case then this might be the beginning of the end of Shinobi.


Hidari vs. Code vs. Sarada


The next important interaction in this scene was the fight between Hidari, Code and Sarada. Code kidnapped Sarada and brought her to Hidari. Code’s goal was that when he gives Sarada to Hidari, they (the Humanoid Ten Tails) will help in fighting against Boruto. However Hidari wanted to consume Sarada. So in this chapter, Sarada escapes Codes clutches. Code attacks Hidari but he wasn’t able to hit him. It was revealed by Code that “everything black is a claw mark” and because of this Hidari can easily evade his attacks. It’s hard for me to explain this but in the chapter, Code tries to hit Hidari but his hand passes through him because that part Code wanted to hit was his “black cloths”.

Code planned on targeting a spot in Hidari but Sarada also attacked Code with a Fireball Jutsu saying he was wide open. Code was very upset but what could he do. During this interaction, Jura was in the bookshop in Konoha. Shikamaru even told the store manager to keep Jura there so he doesn’t leave.

The fight was first Code vs. Hidari but after Sarada attcacked Code, Code targeted Sarada. Code had the upper hand in the fight but when he was about to hurt Sarada, Hidari stopped him because Code was being to Cruel. Code was surprised because Hidari’s goal was to Devour Sarada. Just like what we’ve seen from Jura, Matsuri and Ryu, these Humanoid ten tail want to feel something. They are like big children. They want experience and they want that experience by devouring others.


Closure


The chapter concluded with Boruto cutting Code’s jaw and saving Sarada. It’s honestly uncertain how the next chapter is going to look like because it’ll be Boruto, Code, Sarada and Hidari in the same location. Code, Boruto and Sarada have their goals but Hidari is going to be a wild card because he’s still learning about himself. It will be interesting to see.
