Passes in Kingshot are a special resource players must collect to participate in the “Kingdom Transfer”. Kingdom Transfer is an important event in the game that lets players move their accounts between Kingdoms and it’s essential for strategic alliances and competitive play. The exact number of passes required in Kingshot depends on your power level and destination but most players will need a handful of Passes to several dozen of them. Passes (also referred to as Transfer Passes) in Kingshot are items required to take part in the Kingdom Transfer event. Transfer Passes act like Tickets because if you don’t have enough of them, you cannot initiate a transfer request. These passes are limited so they disappear once used and they are tied specifically to the Kingdom Transfer mechanics. It’s good that players should work toward collecting these passes ahead of the event because being short in passes can block your transfer especially if your aim is to get a more competitive Kingdom.


How Passes Are Used in Kingshot


Transfer Passes in Kingshot are spent exclusively during the Kingdom Transfer event which usually takes places every few weeks or months (it’s hard to determine). During this event, players can move to a different Kingdom which can have strategic benefits like stronger alliance support, better competition, or language communities they prefer. The number of Passes you use depends on your Transfer Score (a combination of factors in the game like strength, gear and development) and the Rating of the Kingdom you’re transferring to. Players with lower power who transfer to a similarly ranked kingdom will need a handful of passes why stronger players targeting top-tier Kingdoms will require a lot more. Pass transfer requirements also scale up as you progress in the game leading to a higher pas usage.



How Many Passes Do You Need in Kingshot


There isn’t a single fixed number of Transfer Passes required for every player in Kingshot because the game calculates the number based on your Transfer Score relative to the target Kingdom’s strength. According to official game data, the number of passes needed can range from 1 to 50 for any given Kingdom Transfer event. The higher your power and the stronger the Kingdom you’re targeting, then the more passes you are likely to need.

Reports from several Kingshot communities (Reddit etc.) reflect the above range and emphasizes on how it can vary by power level and situation. For instance players around 100 – 120 million power have reported needing around 7-8 passes for their transfer while others are 160-190 million power have reported pass requirements in the 18-20 range. Players with very high power (usually referred to as Whales) have reported needing 40-50 passes. These community figures aren’t official but they perfectly match the games stated range and help reveal how pass requirements scale with player strength and the target Kingdom.
