Kingshot Armament Competition Guide

The Armament Competition in Kingshot is a recurring event that emphasizes on how well you manage resource and progression. It’s unique because it doesn’t involve combat. Instead of fighting enemies, players earn points by using valuable resources like Truegold, hero shards, and upgrade materials. In simple terms, the more you spend your resources, the more rewards you unlock. The only issue many players have during this event is that they waste resources at the wrong time and they end up with low points (when compared to other players). This article is going to talk about the Armament Competition in Kingshot, what to use, when to use it, and how to get a lot of rewards (you can say maximize rewards).


How the Armament Competition Works


The Armament Competition automatically unlocks once you reach the Age of Truegold in the game. It runs a 2-day event that appears regularly during the week. It’s a weekly cycle so it happens every week. When Armament Competition starts, it usually shows in the Event Tab. This means you’ll see the event name and timer countdown. When Armament Competition is active, the event will show as an icon banner on your main screen and it usually appears alongside other events in the game. Sometimes the game also shows a “New Event Started” prompt.

There are two variations or types of Armament Competition and these are Artisan Visions Armament (Type 1) which is a Monday event. It starts on Monday and runs for two days (Monday-Tuesday). The second is the Truegold Armament (Friday event) and it starts on Friday and ends on Saturday. In order to earn points during this event, you need to spend resources tied to the progression system in the game. There’s a points counter that shows at the top of the screen during the event that tracks your points or resources spent. There’s also a milestone reward bar which is like the “Meter”, and as you gain points by spending resources, the bar fills up. For instance spending 1 Mythic shards to get +125 points.

As for rewards, the main reward of the Monday event is the Artisan Visions hence the reason it’s called Artisans Visions. The Main reward of the Friday event is Truegold. Even though these two are the main rewards, these events give other rewards. I also want to add that there’s a Leaderboard and it’s based on your total points when compared to other players. This leaderboard is usually given at the end of the event. I spoke about a meter (Milestone system) to get points in this competition but players can rank higher than you if they get more points in the leaderboard. For instance the Milestone is 5000 points, you reach the milestone and stop spending but other people rank higher than you because they spend more and get extra points.


Best Ways to Get points during the Armament Competition Fast


To get more points fast in the Armament Competition, you need to focus on using the right resources for the current active event type. I made mention of how there are two different types of Armament Competition and each needs a specific type of spending to get a lot of points. The first step is to check which Armament Competition is active. The Monday version (Artisan version) rewards hero progression so this is the best time to use hero shards (Rare, Epic, Mythic), Truegold (building upgrades), speedups, and Governor gear upgrades.

The Friday version (Truegold event) focuses on high value materials and this makes it ideal for spending resources such as Mithril, Widgets, Forgehammers, Truegold usage and speedups. You should also prioritize the highest valuable resources. An example of this is Mythic Hero Shards and other rare materials that can give a lot of points. It’s good you use it first because once you use it late, you might not see its “point potential”. You can also use speedups at the end of push through the remaining milestone and get extra rewards. You can get extra points by using more resources during both sessions.


When to Spend Resources


This section will contain some details in the section above but I recommend you still read through it. It’s good you know when to spend your resources. In Kingshot, there are a lot of events and even requirements in order to progress in the game. The Armament competition is just one event so if you lack resources and you know you need it for something else, then you might not spend them during this competition. If you have a lot of resources, you can save your resources and spend them during the correct Armament Competition event. For instance you can use hero shards and gear upgrades during the Monday event and save Mithril, Widgets, and other high value material for the Friday event.


Best Strategy for F2P and Low Spenders


If you’re a F2P (Free-to-play) player and a low spenders, then ranking shouldn’t be your goal. You goal should be to get a good reward for the resources you’ve invested. Read the sections above to know how to check how to spend your resources to get the most points. Use your resources for the correct armament Competition type. It’s good that you also check the milestone rewards first to see if it’s worth it and spend just enough to reach the next reward tier. Don’t over spend resources.


Common Mistakes to Avoid


The most common mistake most people make is spending a lot of speedups outside the event. Speedups are okay when you use them but spending lots of speedups outside this event won’t be as beneficial as using it in the event. Speedups can be used on Monday and Fridays so they are valuable. I still want to remind you that this event is only available once you reach the Age of Truegold. Another mistake people make is trying to compete in the leaderboard so they waste resources they do not have. Don’t mix up resources you’re suppose on each event day.

The Armament Competition in Kingshot is not about who is the strongest but about who knows how to manage and use resources. Players who save some hero shards, speedups, and high value materials will have an advantage during this event. Spending them wisely also matters a lot for instance using Mythic Shards during the Monday event and Mithril during the Friday event. Speedups can be used on both sessions so they are an asset.
